Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

They were in last year as guests, and if they won they could have come in this year. But they didn't.

Sweden haven't got anyone yet. They are still voting.

Edit: Paradisio sounded good. I like the background music.

Daily reminder that who wins Eurovision is based off politics, not who sings better.

I think I'm the only one that voted for Ukraine because I loved the song. Also wish Latvia ended higher.

That was really tense, but I'm glad the public votes are more important now.

I really liked Ukraine's song, especially bc Jamala wrote and produced it all herself. It doesn't need to be a big ballad/house song to win.

Re: -*- Eurovision Song Contest 2016 -*-

It's funny how before Ukraine won, the comment section for their song's youtube video was much more positive, and there were some interesting comments comparing it to Burial, discussing the meaning of the song and praising the singer (specifically, there was a part where she kind of makes her voice sound like that instrument at the beginning, which I found really cool). It was actually my favourite song from the contest, and probably the first Eurovision winner I've actually liked. Then as soon as they win, it's like the most hated song ever. I guess my opinion sucks!

I wouldn't have thought Burial. Interesting choice, haven't listened to them much though.
