Lost Connection?

So I was playing a campaign, got really tired after a while. I decided to take a 20 minute break. When I came back the game said "Lost Connection" and all my progress was lost? What caused this to happen?

I think EE couldn't connect to your client and you were booted, it was most likely your internet not working.

No, internet is fine. I know the literal meaning of "lost connection", and I didn't lose connection, I assure you.

I'm not the one running the servers here, that's all the info that can be given without asking staff.

When you lose connection that means that you were laggy at that time (In this case when you were on break) and that caused EE to slow down and cause the "lost connection" sign to come up.

I may have been losing connection to all the worlds I've joined during these days. The issue is that I never got a message after the loading screen appearing again while playing on any world.

Sometimes when you go afk, your internet can just stop working for some reason. It reconnects when you come back. I don't think this is an issue with EE, as it has happened to me on irc before. I do not know the cause.
