150x150 is scrapped, but we're indeed planning to add more world types.

would it be possible to have custom-sized worlds?
like, it adds energy needed to buy it every pixel taller/wider it gets?

Give me a damn, but Nou's saying something about the update of summer 2016. He got previews for us, but I cant show it yet. I mean, NOU gave preview of summer 2016 to me (I'm not a mod, I am a player. I wanted to see the new things in 2016 summer). But you won't be able to tell

Um. We already have white block. It's called cloud pack.

The problem, though, is that we have very few. By adding a white block to all the main packages, we would suddenly gain a lot more variety in white block options.

Also going to repost this here. Not sure how reliable it is but if Toop is reading this topic I suppose he can confirm it.
