Mafia 4 game thread (Day 2)

Do not post in this thread unless you are in the game.
If you wish to join go to the signups thread and join the backup queue. If a player needs to be replaced out the first person in the backup queue will take their spot.

The following rules are in play for the game, and I will be stricter on these rules than I was last time.

1. All forum rules apply, however spam and multi-posting rules are more lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue, but don't push it.

2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted.

3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.

4. Do not quote someone else's post and edit for misleading purposes.

5. You must stay active and contribute to discussion to stay in the game. If you stay inactive too long, you will be prodded for inactivity and replaced if you don't respond to the prod within 24 hours. Earning more than one prod will result in you being replaced or modkilled.

6. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying your night result or what your role is, but don't copy paste an entire role pm.

7. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.

8. As soon as a majority is reached, it counts as the day being over. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately so do not post after majority is reached.

9. You may not talk about the game with living players through any means other than the game thread and Mafia night chat.

10. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill.

11. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.

12. The moderator's word is final.

If you have any questions you can pm me or post in this thread, however keep in mind that questions relating to the current game I will likely not be able to answer, so only ask about game mechanics.

anyway idk, i'm kind of in the "mafia attacked SK" group rather than "calicara/anak happened to pick a mafia to roleblock" even tho i guess statistically it's more probably maf was RB'd. gut feeling or w/e

anyway, so, either calicara or anak, assuming they're both telling the truth, is probably a consort because idk, having two town RBs seems unlikely...

and yeah, idk, anak attacking cali is kinda suspicious. could either be he's actually an escort... or maybe an exe.

Role names aren't indicative of what the role actually does; blah blah blah meta:

The names of everyone's roles will be public at the start of the game, so picking a name like Vito Corleone to get Mafia probably isn't the best idea (Not like it would work anyways).

i think proc's tryina take control of the game; depending on whether he's a mafia-leader-let's-dupe-them or an actual trying-to-let-town-win-for-once; either way i think as a person who's hosted a mafia game, he's frustrated.

but as mentioned... at least once, both tako ? and creature were roleblocked. it's possible one of them is a mafia killer. I think not killing N1 is an interesting move and would be a good way to place blame on someone via who is roleblocked. tbt to when i didn't make a kill as an SK

if they were mafia and anak was witched, they're virtually undetectable aka unconfirmable.

just because processor's taking charge doesn't mean he's town. iirc bobithan did something similar in game 2.

idk to me processor is being incredibly pushy, but in a different way than rhazh. rhazh is just bad at forum mafia as he's told me many times. maybe proc's actually town, but idk i'm leaning towards scum. proc's definitely a leading force.

also as for the quick to vote/late whatevers, i pretty much have lost all concept of time. i have no idea when this day ends.

maybe proc and pyro are buddied. idk. kinda seems that way though.

proc pls explain exactly why i'm so heavily scum besides based on activity, because i can think of a pretty good reason for laying low besides being scum.

Reluctance to persuade the town's goal. This is mostly about the way you present facts, the general negative attitude you have in this game is very dumb.
In Game 3 you MADE an effort to contribute. Game 3 was also the only game where you were town.
Now you are just back to being just like you were in game 2.

You might think she is being sarcastic, but if you don't take it for sarcasm it makes perfect sense and is a statement I will agree with. By lurking you are making it easy for mafia to hide between the crowd. You gotta stand out or you get policy lynched.
Even if her statement was sarcastic, it proves my other point. Zoey is being the opposite of a pro-town member. How does she want to win this game by accepting the fact that half the members of the game are just sitting here doing nothing? I have to believe that she doesn't want town to win. It's the only explanation to all this.

how am i accepting of the fact that pretty much everyone is an afker? and let's be real, town never wins these games.

it should be noted that whomever anak RBed hadn't come forward at this point [and still hasn't] so idk it's kind of sketchy that proc votes creature up instead of considering who anak RBed, calls maxi scumlean for siding with creature, whom we have no conclusive proof is actually the mafia. calicara also kinda sides w/ proc in #177

also creature confirmed town. so i guess the "cali trying to pin mafia kill on creature" was accurate, unless anak really DID manage to RB a mafia via witch. processor pretty much completely ignores anak's bit for quite a while

alsoEB and hostage are laying really low, so probably keep an eye out for them. tako still hasn't made a single post. w24 isn't super active but he's a newb so it's k i guess. i kinda think he's neutral? gutfeel. gutfeel is p dum tho

alsoi admit that it was a 100% completely **** up thing for me to do to calicara. i'm genuinely sorry. i didn't expect her to get modkilled for it, i didn't expect for me to not get modkilled from it. i'll try to actually play this game properly.

i kind of still think processor is suspicious mostly because he keeps suggesting that calicara is town up until a few posts ago [#270], w/ no real proof even though i've said multiple times that it's definitely possible that she's mafia.
