Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

if every single active person on eeforums were to live in a village...

if every single active person on eeforums were to live in a village, who would ultimately become the supreme leader?

alternate wording:

if all of the users on eeforums formed a clan, who would be it's ruler?

definition of active: logged onto eeforums in the past month

Re: if every single active person on eeforums were to live in a village...

Well, we already have intrinsically selected leaders in the form of an oligarchy... so they probably would take over (@Diff)
but then people would probably behave like savages and throw those people out. After that, who knows? Probably whoever's most arrogant for starts. Are there other people around? I'd probably emigrate asap.

what time period is this? if possible, I'd try and get deported... assuming I'm not already in my own country

we'd probably have a few arrogant people on here who turn out to be wimps so that'd be kinda funny. I feel like the answer to your question is based in the physical world but what we offer here is not that.

The most powerful person physically and intellectually will become the leader. If you tried to maintain the current "moderators/admins" they'd just be overpowered unless they could somehow defend themselves or gather enough people to provide a formidable amount of defense as support to them

Especially in an environment such as a village/clan, where modern rules of "being nice" etc. definitely will not apply

I don't think the village would survive long enough for anyone to even do anything let alone choose someone to rule.

If nobody else did, I would do it just for some order. Otherwise, I would prefer to be some kind of advisor.

Re: if every single active person on eeforums were to live in a village...

This is actually a great writing prompt as opposed to whatever we're treating this as... it can't really be summed up without acknowledging the variables we've found

what structure IS there?
do we even know how to survive?
who all is actually included in this?
do we assume any of us are physically capable of ascending one flight of stairs?

I mean if there's enough downed trees and branches and grass I can build and teach other scrubs to build one man shelters in a few hours. They're not warm but they'll keep most of the water out if it rains. One of the ones I built stayed standing for just over a year until some nub came along and used it for firewood. OP what kind of place is this village in?

Re: if every single active person on eeforums were to live in a village...

if location is a random forest, I'd say we could survive.

We'd have to find a lake/stream for easy accessibility to water/ potential to find fish. Worst case scenario, there are certain plants and trees that actually store a formidable amount of water in their roots that you can dig up and squeeze for water.

You'd have to find stones and hone them using other stones to create spears for hunting. You can use tree sap as a adhesive.

Creating a fire is difficult technique wise because of how delicate the technique is but it's definitely doable if you know how. Using stone tools you could probably carve out things such as canisters to hold water from wood and cut down trees to build a shelter.

At this point, you have to go and hunt food, and if you succeed ur good because you already A have a fire to cook it.

As far as I'm concerned if anyone tried to increase my risk of dying id probably kill them lol, but surviving in the wild is possible
