Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yes or no to Match Fixing?

Match fixing is when you deliberately lose a match/violate the rules because people pay you a lot of money to do so. Would you match fix if you were one of the best in a particular sport?

Re: Yes or no to Match Fixing?

Depending on the sport, if you're one of the best at it you'll probably be drowning in money, so nope - why would you risk your public career and the reputation you've built for a few extra millions you'd earn in weeks anyway?

Is a psychological novel about this theme.

By rights,  a man ought to be satisfied with what he has; for, since we talk about it, not riches make one happy, but peace and quiet in one's home.

Re: Yes or no to Match Fixing?

no

winning in a sport and knowing ppl are cheering you on is an epic feeling

you're already earning tons of money if you're one of the best in a particular sport

Maverick: Started up on a 6, when he pulled from the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.

I completely agree with 0176 and insanity. Risking your career and being known as a cheater wouldn't be worth it.  I guess people do it if they're good but not the best, in order to make more money. Maybe it's an attention thing as well, and not giving a **** about your reputation?

Re: Yes or no to Match Fixing?

not only it has to be MUCH MUCH more money than you already have (besides, when youre a millionaire a couple million dollars difference doesnt matter for you because you wont spend it on needed stuff anyway), it also has to be worth the reputation and career that you will lose.
