Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I like to have the effect that works like the gravity dots, Because you cant put those dots behind gates (switch, keys, team colour).
It can help me so much more with the puzzles.

It would be cool to fly all over the world but hit the blocks. And this would save much time on building.

I didn't mean that you could build with this effect, but a good point too.
I thought players could just move like on the dots inside other blocks

When I initially read this idea, I thought you were referring to an effect where you'd have zero gravity and wouldn't be able to control where you went until you hit a gravity field or dots (object in motion stays in motion unless acted on by another force) and was wondering what the applications of that would be.
Then I realized you were referring to a block that simulates the effect of dot gravity, even through blocks. I assume the effect would take priority over sideways and upwards gravity too, correct?
I see this as a good time-saver for large gravity fields and as an aid to puzzle levels.

I meant you wouldn't have to put dots everywhere.

What happens if player goes on arrows or water for example?
And this reminds me of that bad idea of invisible aura.

But don't get me wrong, I have to say this idea can be really good!:
Think about this effect that you can set it as: gravity dots, arrows up, left & right! With just one block you could set the whole worlds gravity upside down, with no distracting arrows! Great potential of many new world gameplay concepts!
There were ideas of upside down gravity worlds but with effect this can finally happen!

imagine that empty space is invisible DOWN arrow
if you can "fly" in this arrow, why you cant in others?
i mean, with this effect , it will doesnt matter waht arrow it is

imgood9 described a much better idea for this effect. IMO if they added a paint bucket/fill tool the original suggestion would be slightly redundant.

Oh so with this effect other gravity blocks do not affect on this dot-effect? Hmm well then my idea wouldn't work I guess...

thats exactly what i mean.
somethimes you got the big area's completely filled with dots. with this effect you dont have to do that.
Also this could benefit with blocks you can trought, like all the gates
