Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

[Release] EESpender

EESpender | v2.0.8 | [source] | [binaries]

A tool that automatically collects login rewards, and spends energy on the newest items in the Energy Shop

EESpender prioritises shop items based on the lowest total energy cost, where you have none of, and whether the item is new.
Additionally, it collects login streak rewards, and displays which reward you'll receive next.

It is mono compatible (with .NET 4.5.2), and my current uptime during testing is several months.
The average memory footprint is about 100mb (mono), which should be within the limits of many free shell providers.

This application should be executed with crontab or an equivalent (if using Linux) or Task Scheduler (if using Windows).
It will store log files in the current directory the application it is, under a 'logs' subdirectory.

It should continue working properly, and the shop format is updated through JSON with Github to ensure it's always working smoothly.
An example for using this application is shown README on Github.

Re: [Release] EESpender

Hm, I think we should be able to pick an item that the bot should be able to spend the energy on and then give us a notification when it got completed

Re: [Release] EESpender

Atilla overlord, telling us what we should spend energy on.

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

It prioritises based on what currently has energy allocated towards it, so in practise you could simply spend energy on an item in-game.

A notification feature would be neat, however there's many potential channels to send a notification to.
A consideration could be to add a feature for email notification, however that might permit a slippery slope into other various methods of notifications, endlessly convoluting the application.

Worth considering, thanks for the feedback.

It should work fine.
You should make sure you have .NET framework (4.5 or higher) installed, and run it from cmd with the correct parameters.

For example, like this.

Cheers i''ll edit and tell you if it works.

EDIT: I updated .NET and it didn't work (somethings wrong with the computer) I made a script and I will share it for others if they have the same problem. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Here is it. Remember too have EESpender in C:\ and update the email and password to yours.

Re: [Release] EESpender

This has been updated to v2.2a which should resolve a potential issue with wasting cpu cycles, let me know if everything runs smoothly.
The sources are available above as well as the compiled binaries.

Re: [Release] EESpender

Updated it once again to 2.3, with a few needed changes on the priorities, strongly suggested to use this build rather than v2.2 -- as usual, source code is provided.

There are several lists of them, such as the ones here.
Personally, I use st0rage, which isn't free but I've used their service for years and all they ask for is a small donation, mostly to deter criminal/nefarious activity.

Although, if you do have a spare computer that has good uptime, or even a Raspberry Pi or similar, all you have to do is launch from cmd on Windows, or install mono on Linux.

Re: [Release] EESpender

This tool has been updated greatly with large code revision, refactoring and additionally multiple authentication support with RabbitIO, as well as automatic shop updates with JSON served directly from Github.
The only difference in use is that you should use a crontab (if using Linux) or alternatively, Task Scheduler (if using Windows).

Please report any issues in this topic, or alternatively open an issue on the Github repository.

Re: [Release] EESpender

This has been updated to v2.0.4, various improvements have been made, as visible in the commits.

The project now has a readme which includes an example crontab script that runs every 125 minutes (per 50 energy).

Re: [Release] EESpender

This has been updated to v2.0.7, improvements to logging and priorities algorithm has been made.

It now supports multiple accounts per process, which further reduces the CPU and Memory time.
Additionally, soon I will be providing a free service for those that are unable to run this 24/7, with a reliably high uptime, further details will be provided when the service is available.

Re: [Release] EESpender

You have to specify the accounts after the executable (i.e. EESpender.exe [email protected] password). If you're using Windows, you should be using Task Scheduler to do this automatically.

It's not supposed to work like that. It's (from what I've seen) supposed to run on a timer (e.g. Task Scheduler) to automagically spend energy on certain items at a certain time.

This is a signature.
