Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

PMs and

I couldn't find a topic about this so

P_M9HaOKPs.gif

Whenever I click on the text box, b tag appears. Fix this please, it's quite annoying.

Re: PMs and

b tag does not appear for me.
Try refreshing the browser or restarting it. If it otherwise doesn't work, try remember the username and password, then log out of it, clear cache and cookies, then sign in again.

All the time. But I thought mods already know about this so I didn't post.

Yep, same. Which is even more annoying because editing text on a phone and getting rid of that is a lot more annoying than it would be with a keyboard...

Yeah I should probably mention this. I'm on an iPhone using Chrome.

Re: PMs and

^Tried using chrome to emulate chrome on an iphone, no good. which is ironic because you'd think they'd have their own in-house software actually together on that. Maybe my/your chrome is outdated.

dunno. user-agent-specific? phones-just-glitch?

Re: PMs and

I've known about this glitch for about a year now (Fail has this bug, too), and was FINALLY able to reproduce it... on an ipad where I can't debug it. If anyone experiences this on a computer, give me browser version and OS version and anything else that might be relevant.

Re: PMs and

I don't suppose I can just blame it on apple and leave it at that, can I?

I'll see if I can get my hands on a mac.

Re: PMs and

Found half of it. For some reason, the forum uses those fancy <label> tags for the "required fields"... but this label incorporates the entire submit box. so, if you click any BBcodes, or smileys, or textarea, the label wants to jump in. And for some reason, they let the label pick a random element to fire its event.. in this case, the not-so-random is the first box in the label. I think.

or... I don't know what I'm doing and randomly got things to work after layering hours of random modifications in. no, I didn't actually spend hours on this. some folks don't get sarcasm

so if labels aren't important, I turned it into a span and got rid of the glitch. if that breaks something else, oh

Well that certainly looks like it's the issue. I've moved the buttons outside of the label like the new topic/post page does to see if that fixes the issue.

Someone who has an apple device pls respond.
