Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

An open-ended question for a change. Realistically, what will cause the demise of what seems to bring us together? Will it be a sudden death, or a quiet one in the night... after living to old age, and being supported by multiple machines that really make us externally cyborgs?
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/everybodyedits.com
According to Alexa, "What sites link to everybodyedits.com?" the top of the list is a reddit comment with 1 karma. So we know that, for whatever duration this index extends, we aren't gaining users by external links.
Additionally, only 90% of users who go on EE hit "everybodyedits.com". So, most often the page hits are for the game. I'm not sure if 10% is a large or small number for these forums? Or are they included?!
40% of unique visits hit EE from EE? So, 40% are looking for Everybody Edits specifically. What does that tell us? Users are being referred? Or are we getting a bunch of young folks who don't know how to use bookmarks/address bar?
People have two pageviews daily, suggesting (to me) that users are hitting the homepage and possibly a level... or the lobby twice to spend energy.
70% only show up to spend energy. (postulate)
google search trends
October 2013-October 2015 = 24 months, 8 points (whatever they are!)
October 2015 is at 8 points, so in two years, given a linear decline, we'd hit zero. October 2017. Bright future, no?
What do you guys think?
The google search trend is the only graph over time... though it may not be the best indicator of site traffic, anyone see particular peaks/drops that coincide with EE admin changes?
Edit: bloghopping
Blog post "Passing the Torch" referring to the misters' leaving was in February 2015. There was the tiniest of revivals, but ultimately the level has dropped below where they started.
The post when Shoe added the "Woot System" was the most recent steep-ish drop. In other words, after the devastation of said update, we've just been slowly dying, as opposed to falling sharply off a cliff.
EE took its first major spill after profiles, newsletter, and Peter! (the same month as, rather)
EE's second major spill was December 2011. Huh.

When people stop asking that. Because then they'll be sure about it.
This is a false statement.

It almost always has used more than one connection and yes. There are usually 2-4 connections open per tab.

No websites or games can last forever, but I say EE has quite a long lifespan ahead of it due to it's potential as well as being a fun and creative game. I'd give it 2-5 more years tbh.
