Ok i applied,i think that it's better to play with other ee players/forumers than complete random people on other servers

Minecraft runs mostly on your CPU. Graphics card doesn't matter that much.

i had like ~20 fps

not i have Stable 60 fps
(in single mod in flat world i have 260! fps)

Minecraft runs mostly on your CPU. Graphics card doesn't matter that much.

that's odd cuz my comp has an i7 processor yet it i have to run it on optifine with the lowest settings, without shaders and i still encounter some lag

For the Cinematic shaders slammed up to the highest they will possibly go? Idek probably SLI 980Tis or something. According to them, a 980 will only get 30-40FPS on ultra @ 1080p. My GTX 970 can manage High @ 1050p while getting ~80FPS. But you really don't need to jack the settings up like that, it doesn't make it look significantly better imo.

We are transferring the server to NVD's. It is located in Germany and has 5 times the RAM. This should help with any lag issues, but if it doesn't, we will return to BisectHosting.

The transfer should be completed in a couple hours (thanks to AT&T's crappy upload speeds).

The server needs a banner!

If interested, create a banner on Miners Need Cool Shoes and then send me the link (located underneath "Share Link") via this form. Submit as many as you want. We will vote on them later.

Rules:
Must be craftable (no more than 6 alterations).
Only members of the server may vote.

Suggestions:
Use no more than 3 colors
Keep it simple
Incorporate symbolism, if possible

When I applied (MagicalEye) I didn't know how to answer the question "is vanilla minecraft fun" (or however you put it) because by myself the game gets boring but on a server/with other people its actually really fun but that question didn't involve multiplayer or not so what i'm trying to say is could you make the question a little more descriptive. also I would really appreciate it if you accept my request thanks for reading.

The question relates to how interested you are in building vs. being challenged. Vanilla doesn't really challenge some players so they resort to mods. The reason I ask is because the server is mostly vanilla and I don't want to whitelist someone who is going to complain all the time about being bored, even though there are people to interact with.

I dunno. I have an HD 7770, which is waaaay below the GTX 970/980 in terms of perfomance and I still got pretty high FPS while playing Minecraft with shader mods cranked to the max.
