What are we supposed to spend energy on then? Do you expect us to just keep buying worlds?
I'm excited for this change, but I hope there will be something new to spend energy on.

Spending energy on blocks forever wasn't something useful either

I had the same thing in mind about the feel of the game.
If something gets implemented it will need a design change, we will get used to it I guess

Ask MrShoe! I see it as a mistake, but one that isn't biting us yet. Removing something in game will cause people to rage (some people are just searching for reasons to complain) and we have decided to never remove stuff, unless we have to.

Exciting news.

I have one question though, will the standalone client be available for those not registered to everybodyedits.com, such as kongregate, armorgames, facebook, etc.? Wasn't sure if you could add a place for the auth token and userID to log in or if that would be a bad idea/impossible.

GM doors/gates aren't really cosmetic

1. to compensate existing builders club users who paid to get blocks with these functionality
2. they aren't overused / abused; most people don't care about them

I have few questions about bots.

1. Are we going to need to program in java script now?
2. Is PlayerIOclient going to be removed? All the bots will have to be rewritten if we are switching hoster.

Yes. We'll add support for the standalone client and Kongregate itself also supports Unity.

No.

How is GM different from beta?

Beta gives you access to a different set of blocks plus beta access to features in beta. GM is the list of cosmetic stuff mentioned in the post. They have nothing to do with each other.

For over five years I've logged into EE to spend my energy on bricks just to get thousands of them. If nothing changes all the effort will be made worthless in one update. It's good to think of the newer players, but please don't forget your veterans.

Energy is free and constantly replenished so...
And you're getting unlimited blocks anyways so what other compensation could there be?

For gems, the staff said you don't get refunds, but it might be different in this situation idk

Paying gems toward EE should be seen as a donation (or a fauxnation, if you will) so I doubt refunds will occur

• What happens to all the energy I spent in the stackable items?
Nothing. Turning the items into infinite uses should be seen as a positive change, not an opportunity for refunds/compensation.

Be grateful you don't have to buy more anymore

(Luckily I spent all my energy on my 36 great worlds <3)

For 5 years I've been spending my energy on special bricks so I could build without limit, and my dream is finally coming true, I'm going to have as many as I want!

Since there's no way for me to buy anything within EE with real money, I'll continue to buy Signs without moral hangovers about buying 150 of them just to see all the daily effort go to waste.

But I'm happy about this new possibility, I'm sure a lot of players was daydreaming of this.
