Why are we limited to increments of 25, 100, etc...?

Sometimes I have like 95 energy and I have to go somewhere and want to spend it on a great world but I have to wait 10 more minutes. Can't we just put in any amount we want and add it?

Maybe "All" should do what it says.
All only adds all of your energy besides the remainder that isn't divisible by 25 etc. right?
For example if you had 110 energy and pressed all on a great world it would only add 100?

@ anch159 just checked a few secs ago, had 53, I could put in 50 at a time, the "all" button only put in 50 so I had 3 left over
