Horror movie suggestions?
Hey so I've been kinda on a horror movie kick lately and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I'm really feeling creepy town vibe ones, or more like psychological thrillers as opposed to saw types.

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs was pretty scary, people were almost being crushed right in front of you the whole time and the ending >.<
Edit: this is why I cannot watch PG movies with or without my parents

Disturbia, The Exorcist, Pan's Labyrinth (a mix of fantasy and horror), The Silence of the Lambs, Misery, The Ring, Paranormal Activity, Scream (1996), Scream II, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Shaun of the Dead, Orphan, and Jaws.

The Thing (by John Carpenter) isn't exactly a scary film, although the practical effects are the absolute best I have ever seen.
An incredible psychological thriller is The Shining (which I suppose you've already seen since it's a classic).
Compare your lives to mine and then kill yourselves.

Yeah, The Thing is entertaining.
That's from 1982.
Also entertaining are Alien and Aliens.

About 30 years ago those three.
CGI simply isn't good enough yet. Our brains know when something is real.
Whether it's stop motion, an actor wearing a scary suit, or full size robotic creatures, it's more real than CGI.
Especially when people in the film touch the real thing.
Psychological horror can also be interesting.
For example the Cube film series.
Since you (Pyromaniac) mention "psychological thrillers", check out the Cube films.
I have permanently left the game and forum.
EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...
...but it's time for me to move on.
