Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I don't pay particular attention to the "main page" and I feel like a great deal of top worlds are your boss/code/art levels.
Alternatively, I might just be innately attracted to joining these worlds.
Either way, yeah I have nothing more to say

Advertisements for worlds? EE would feel too RPG-like and it would have too many dependent features that aren't even required.
Pushing Campaign worlds to the top is a bad start.
Edit: worlds get popular when players have a reason to stay in the world. How many times do you get an art map with no minis filled entirely with players? Almost never. How many times do you get a minigame map with a ton of minis and easy obstacles filled entirely with players? ALL THE TIME. Worlds only reach the top if players stay in the world, producing an accumulation effect.
Firstly amendments to my idea
players that own campaigns can bump ANY world presumably they would pick one they thought was of sufficient quality. players would be required to bump 4? other peoples worlds before they could bump there own. me or someone would then probly establish a forum thread where people without the power could first come first serve request there world get bumped.
although this solves the problem for me as i own a campaign world other people will still have some trouble they should be subjected to some other rules where they can acquire some bumps. maybe this would be by paying energy but i dont really like the energy system. another way they could earn it is by getting a certain amount of total likes. this could give them discounts on bumps? maybe only the liked world could get bumped? how many you need could increase on worlds that have been bumped recently?
next im going to respond to the idea of advertisements
im not sure i understand what this is but this is how i understand it and i kinda like it. You can make your world play advertisements when you enter them? which earns money for the game. or the ads are for worlds? i dont like the idea that the ads are for worlds because players will not see them at the same time. if there when you enter the world noone will click it because they want to play the world they entered first.
lastly a response to ninja
i feel like you didnt read the thread and have the opinion of someone who never actually built a quality world and tried to get people to play it. i dont understand how you consider patience to be "working" if i sat in my world for a week not doing anything the most that will happen is one of my friends will come for 5mins and then say "wth are you doing"
Do you really want "code is 1234" worlds to be bumped every 10 seconds?
players who own a campaign world
they can use it once every 4hrs?

players who own a campaign world
I don't like this idea, even if they can bump others worlds. There are numerous people who would want to bump worlds, you don't have to be a great builder to appreciate others worlds and many people would want to share that and not just those who are lucky enough (at least right now) to have a world in campaigns. Plus, having one single person pick levels can easily turn into small biases even if you don't intend them to at all. imagine wanting to bump a world that is great, but also wanting to bump a friends world that still deserves a bump but is a bit less quality than that other world. The chances are more likely that you are going to pick your friends world because you don't have anyone urging you to pick the better world, then possibly forgetting about it, or unable to find that world (possibly forgot to copy url) in 4 hours so you can't bump it until you see it in the lobby again.
And about the liked worlds getting bumps, let me read you the top 5 liked worlds that are open right now that aren't campaigns:
1. Zombie Town
2. cory's hotel
3. 200 MINIGAMES green
4. 200$/1 room/12 months (another hotel level)
5. cidade br (this level had almost nothing in it)
I'm not saying likes aren't a good way to judge something and not saying the levels I mentioned are necessarily bad, but probably not the ones you are thinking that will get that bump, but it has to be something more than just total likes in a world, or people will be after them more than they are now.
My suggestion since all I did was criticize until here.
Every week, have a topic where people can choose what levels they want basically stickied on the top of the lobby (not the forums) for a day or two (possibly limit it to levels that have been open that week), and go based on the reaction of how well people like the level, and limit the sticky of levels to once every month or something along those lines, that way more than certain maps are being posted and everyone is able to have a say on what they want to see. If you truly want to limit level choices and it not be so open, possibly judge on favorites (seem to be slightly reliable indicator than likes, could be wrong though), or could even be based on how long people have stayed in the level (if you can even measure that), and again, just based on those weeks levels that were shown in the lobby. If you truly wanted to, you could make a vote system in the lobby of those worlds (if you do limit it), however I will say this is more a suggestion that requires feedback from people, so the forums would be the best place to put it, perhaps a link from the game to the mentioned thread so people know what's going on. Just something where multiple peoples voices are being heard instead of a few making choices for everyone else.

First off, we need campaign levels out of the top of the lobby. Whether this means waiting for the hype to die down or actually making them show up at the bottom I'm not sure. I think they should be pushed to the bottom because new players will be joining EE all the time, so campaigns will always have people in them.
Level advertisements in game seems like a pretty cool idea. Maybe a tab in the lobby that shows all of the active ads in a random order. I'm thinking you can buy one for a couple hours, a couple a days and maybe even one week. This really wouldn't solve Muftwin's problem, but I still like it.
As for getting players in your worlds, I don't know that you can much more than just leave it open for awhile. Maybe gather some friends when you want to open it and then they can leave after things start picking up.
and no, people with worlds in campaigns should not get special powers. Getting praise and a lot of players is already a great reward for making a level.

Totally agree on this one, some people might have made some levels which would be added to the campaing but they do't want to loose edit rights, so rewarding ppl for it doesnt seem to an option in my opinion .

There is always this idea. I suggested reviewers because I thought that worlds could get recognition through similar ways that video games get recognition, and I found that an important part of the video games industry is reviews of games. This could be better than the whole "vote to sticky" idea. If not, you could always bring back the featured tab.

the idea here isnt to reward these players more. the idea is to objectively be able to say who is a trust worthy player. you could give it to more people than that i think we know who the community really is but thats much more subjective. the alternative is much worse -- give it to everyone. which means every single world at the top will be a bumped code is 1234 box mini type deal.

You are alienating a group of people though, those who are trustworthy and don't build levels (which is a pretty big group). The main issue I have with this idea is I don't want the lobby controlled by a select group of people. Being able to control what people see is something that one single person should not have, regardless if you think they are trustworthy or not, it is not up to single people to dictate how people enjoy/play this game.
This is why if we are going to do a system which peoples levels are shown at the top (which aren't in campaigns) it has to be through discussion of levels by numerous people, and not just a single persons decision.

I never said you could, but at the same time, tell me how no one will abuse this if they have a level in the campaigns.
level making != maturity , which is what people need to objectively make a decision about this without bringing subjectivity in this. Which you cannot determine from level making alone.
The main point I was making before was just saying it is impossible to not alienate everybody who deserves this power, and at the same time impossible to alienate everybody who shouldn't have this power. while your process is one of the better processes of going after these people, there will always be people who abuse it. Which is why I mentioned we need more than those selected people to do this...
Offline
im not saying anything about there maturity what im saying is that there levels have reached high quality standards which means that when they open one of there worlds its gonna be one that deserves it not code is 1234 bcuz they dont make worlds like that
if someone is found to be "abusing" the power it should be removed from them. i dont even know how you would abuse this considering iv set lots of limitations on it.

That is implying that people who made it in campaigns are superior to other people, I don't think that is what you mean to say, but I have seen numerous levels where people deserve to get recognized, far more than a few campaigns can add. Everyone deserves a chance to get recognized further than they already are if they put time and effort in the levels, and not just those who have been recognized once before, because it is not just those who have a level in a campaign that struggle to get worlds noticed, I see a ton of levels with just one person in it that deserves to be at the top for a little.
A small summation of the few sentences that might make a bit more sense. Every level maker that even spends some amount of time in making something deserves to get noticed, not just those who have already been noticed for excelling.
And about that abusing, it's mainly if you are able to bump others worlds, and I probably shouldn't have used the word abused, but the simple truth is a friends world of the person bumping will most likely appear more than another person, regardless of quality, which isn't always a bad thing but it does bring subjectivity into it when the quality of the world is the main thing that matters.
Offline
I think we are actually in agreement. those other worlds that deserve to be at the top also deserve to be in a campaign. i also included ways for those people to get noticed by giving them other ways to get bumped or getting bumped from the first come first serve ask for a bump thread.
so what if someone wants to bump a friend? im going to bump my own subpar worlds that i make as a joke occasionally. does that make me biased towards myself? of course it does. Is it a big deal if every once in a while a bad world is on top? no look at the lobby already all the bad worlds are on top.

I said it wasn't a bad thing, but the main thing you were focusing on is people chosen being objective choice which is why you only give that power to people in the campaigns, but picking levels are totally subjective, because there are some good worlds that I am not a fan of also and some levels people don't like that I like, the whole process is being picked objectively but they have to be subjective with their choices, just like everyone else would, however I disagree with it that way and why I believe things should be settled in a group, while still subjective, being able to pick the top picks from people settle some uncertainty in choices sometimes.
Another issue with having single people picking levels is bribes/begging. Once people figure out you can do this, there is a high possibility people will beg or even bribe others just to be at the top, which lead into my maturity (and also an integrity) thing up top and being able to not fall into that. I know this can happen in every possibility where people choose things, but it will be much more apparent if it's a per person bump instead of by a group because you have to convince less people to show the world.
Offline
So i dont know where your going with this. it seems like you like the idea. what exactly would you change? how would we "settle things in a group"?
maybe worlds could be up for longer 1hr? BUT the catch is now worlds can be "bumped out" if enough people dont like the world it gets knocked out of the lobby early and incurs some kind of penalty? do you like that more?

IMO, if it continues the way it is now, it would be okay, the situation now is much better than 2013-2014, if you compare the worlds from these years, with the currently one, theres many good/fun levels that are on good positions on the lobby, also, if you remember the day campaigns got realesed to everybody, the whole lobby was filled with them, nowadays, theres just 1-3 with more than 5 players
so i will make a list of worlds that are online now and classify them
toilet quest - fun world, but it's wip, so it dosen't really deserve be bumped
get teh code - just a random free edit world that got trolled every 10 minutes, dosen't deserve be bumped
3-D parkour - the same thing as normal parkour worlds, it's fun but wip, even if it's done, it dosen't deserve be bumped
>>>150 minigames<<< - do i really need to talk about it? not sayign that the world isn't good, but it's filled of repetivite minigames that we see everytime
late for dinner - fun. but repetitive, dosen't deserve be bumped
scary maze wip- seriously what is the point of bumping a world that the only thing you can do is watch some players building random things?
the tunnels - a campaign world, it dosen't needs a bump, everyone can play this via campaign menu
las coronas - didn't enter on the world, because i accidentally refresh, but it's probrably a free-edit-only-to-spanishs world, nothing more to say
200 minigames red - same as >>>150 minigames<<<
conclusion: there are like 20% of the levels on the top are good/fun, but they are wip, the others are almost all free-edit worlds, and boxed minis

I like the premise of the idea, but I dislike single people bumping worlds, there are too many people that don't build worlds, but play them. and those people need to have a say in what is going to be in the top of the lobby also because those are the ones actively playing them.
Condensed form: create a topic where people basically post levels they want to see more of from that week, with a possible way to limit those choices, I truly don't know how, or if any way to do that though and I dislike the ones I mentioned in my previous post also. have that topic linked in the lobby so more than just regular forums people are participating. with this way, both level makers and players could both suggest and offer levels that people can see, regardless if they do get chosen, they are being mentioned which people may want to check out.
I dislike the idea of single user promotion because you are being forced to limit who does it, which shouldn't happen if this is something that is supposed to benefit everybody by promoting good levels.

which does nothing to solve my problem which is that i want to logon open my world for an hour get ~100 people in that time watch people enjoy it get some praise have a conversation maybe changes some parts of the level and then leave and let it die when i get bored. i used to be able to do this with accbomb why was that a problem?
your idea sounds like the featured tab we know how that went. worlds are now featured by being put into campaigns. noone is going to vote every single week if you want to do that theres the campaign suggestions forum.

I still don't see how limiting it to campaign world owners will solve that. Other players need a way to promote also if that's the case, considering some peoples levels go unnoticed, how are those people going to get any extra attention other than getting lucky and having someone else who can bump a world bump it? this solution seems to keep the well known people up top and the others who have potential stay where they are because I still don't believe people will bump levels unless they know them or it's their own.
Also there would have to be something where the world owner would have to accept a bump if it's not their own.
And from your previous post, I don't think worlds need a penalty if people don't like it, as people spent time on actually making the world and time of day could factor into it not getting plays.
Offline
I absolutely hate the idea of bumping worlds for gems or energy. I don't think world bumping should be a thing, considering there's tons of worlds in the lobby that are trying to gain players.
I believe you need to actually work for your world to be at the top. Account bombing was bad enough, so I don't think that you should add any such thing along the lines of bumping worlds.
Would like to bring this comment up again. What exactly do you mean by "working" for your world to be at the top? A world being brought to the top is purely luck based. You would need about 15 or so people to all randomly select your world out of the huge lobby list. Even if people do select it, they also have to all be there at the same time, meaning, nobody can leave. It could take hours for that to happen, and isn't worth it at all. I feel like you are under the assumption that all good worlds can easily go to the top of the lobby, but that isn't the case. A high quality world still has to go through the luck phase just as bad worlds do, and due to the fact that the game is filled with 10 year olds, the chances of them picking a bad world over a good world are insanely high.
so... pls explain what you meant, because it makes literally no sense whatsoever.
(also how was account bombing ever bad? I never got that one either.)
