Colosseum | Game 1 (IT'S OVER!!)

Welcome to the Colosseum. Your goal here is to exit our theater alive. Do you think you have what it takes?

You start with 3 health. Every turn, you have a few options to choose from.

Attack an opponent, damaging them for 1 health.
Heal yourself for 1 health.
Block, blocking all attacks for that turn.
Counter, blocking all attacks for that turn, plus all of your attackers get damaged. If nobody attacks you, you hurt yourself.
Buy an item, purchasing a specific item from the shop to use later.
Use your item, using the item you purchased. For some items a target player must be specified.
Repair your shield, in the event that it breaks.
Pick up your sword, in the event that you are disarmed.

General Game Rules:
1. Max health is 4.
2. A successful block breaks your shield, rendering you unable to block until you use a turn to repair your shield.
3, If you are attacked while healing, your heal is cancelled.
4. You can't heal at max health.
5. You can't attack yourself.
6. Submitting an invalid command will result in you doing nothing for the turn.
7. If you do nothing for 2 turns in a row, you will start taking damage for idling.
8. Kill credit is not given if idle decay contributes to the kill at all.
9. If everybody in the game does nothing, blocks, or repairs their shield, blocking will be disabled until at least 1 person dies. Shields can still be repaired during this time.

Submitting commands:
1. Commands can be submitted to me via forum PM or IRC. I am Towel in #eeforums so if you are for whatever reason unable or unwilling to use forum PM just query me there, as I'm online literally 24/7
2. Each turn lasts either 24 hours or whenever everybody submits a command, depending on when I'm available.
3. Be sure to clarify who your target is when attacking or using an item that requires a target.
4. Keep all of your commands to a single PM thread. My inbox can end up pretty cluttered otherwise.
5. If you wish to revise your command, you are free to do so up to the deadline. However, please don't just edit your PM, as I'm not notified of edits.
6. Deadlines are deadlines. I will not accept late commands.

Shop:

Shop Rules:
1. Every single item costs 3 tokens.
2. You earn 1 token for every successful hit by attack or counter.
3. If somebody is in possession of the item, the item is sold out and cannot be bought.
4. If multiple people try to purchase an item in a single turn, nobody receives the item.
5. The item is available in the shop again the turn after it is used by the owner or the owner is killed.
6. You can only have one item at a time and you have to use your item before buying another one.
7. You cannot buy the same item twice in a row.
8. You can attempt to buy an item while doing another command. Buying can be a standalone command. Purchasing items is the only extra command you can use on top of normal commands!
9. You cannot buy an item while using an item and you cannot buy an item the turn you earn your third token.

BROKEN MIRROR
A counter where instead of attacking the attacker, you direct all attacks at yourself for that turn towards a single target. If the target also counters, all attacks directed at the target bounce back at you. If you use this item and nobody attacks you, you hurt yourself.

WOODEN LONGSWORD
Attack 2 different enemies at once. If either enemy counters, neither attack will hit and you will hit yourself. If either enemy blocks and no enemy counters, both attacks will miss.

CRYSTAL BALL
A counter with a specific player in mind. If you use this item and the person you targeted attacks you, they will be stunned and won't be able to do anything the next turn. Non targeted people can attack you and if you miss you hit yourself normally with no other repercussions.

POISON DART
Poison another player. Poisoned players take 1 damage every other turn for 4 turns. Poison can be negated with a heal, and the damage can also be prevented by healing on the turn of the damage. The dart can be blocked or countered.

LEECH SHIELD
Anybody who attacks you heals you for 1 health. If you use the leech shield and nobody attacks you, you attack yourself.

BREACHING BLOW
Cancels the target's counter or block and hurts them one point.  Canceling the defensive also enables other players to hit the target. Does not hurt non-defending players.

SECOND HEART
Heal a 4 health player to 5 health. Can use on yourself or another player. Players at 5 health cannot heal, block, or counter. If you are healing somebody else and you are attacked, the heal is cancelled. The person being healed is protected for the turn.

PROBATION
Disable healing for everybody except yourself for 2 turns.

PICKPOCKET
Steal an item from another player. Cannot be blocked or countered. Does nothing if the target uses their item when you attempt to steal it.

DISARM
Disarm your target, rendering them unable to attack or counter until they use a turn to pick up their sword. This attack can be countered but not blocked. Any attacks on the turn of disarming still count.

FREELOADER
Anybody who successfully heals the next turn also heals you. If you are attacked while using this item the use is cancelled.

QUARANTINE
Pit yourself against one other opponent in an isolated duel. You and the person you choose to duel are invincible on the turn you challenge them. The duel starts the turn after the challenge. You cannot choose to duel somebody with less health than you. The person you challenge has no choice but to fight you.

IT'S OVER

Congrats to Onjit and Zumza for losing the first full game of Colosseum!

Stats and observations:
Not entirely accurate because I made a few mistakes when tallying everything and I really don't feel like going through it all again.

Out of 120 total commands sent...
45% were attacks
29% were blocks
20% were heals
7.5% were counters
6.7% were other
67% of attacks hit
29% of blocks blocked attacks
56% of counters countered attacks
67% of heals were uninterrupted

Additionally...
46 total turns were spent idle
50% of the missed attacks were blocked, 50% were countered
andsrt500, Onjit, and Zumza had perfect attendance records. So did Bimps, but he only lived for 2 turns which still deserves a shout-out.
andsrt500 and Zoey2070 were both attacked 10 times. The next highest was Creature, who was attacked 6 times in his 6 turn lifespan, averaging at one attacker per turn.
Br0k3n wasn't attacked once until turn #21.
Zumza attacked a total of 16 times.
Onjit healed a total of 12 times.
