So you know how Kong got new users? That the game reached top of the month? Most of the kong complains were how confusing the game is now, one factor is the lack of tutorial access for new players (campaign is still beta), the other is how many buttons there are. In the game itself, when you get edit, there's:
1. Go To Lobby
2. Share Level
3. Smiley
4. Aura
5. God Mode
6. Chat
7. Level Bricks
8. Like/Favorite
9. Sound
10. FullScreen
11. Minimap
Eleven buttons to learn, and some of them are icons which are not straightforward. Additionally in the lobby:
1. Lobby Tab
2. Campaigns Tab
3. Shop Tab
4. Options Tab
5. Rooms
6. Favorites
7. Join-viaID
8. Refresh
9. Friends Tab
10. Crew Tab (New players don't know what crews are!)
11. World Tab (New players don't know what worlds are!)
12. Inbox Tab (empty)
13. News Tab
Whopping thirteen buttons were presented in the lobby itself, this is not a healthy experience for new players and will cause them to cease playing the game. One way to fix this is to reduce the buttons showed at once, or make these more straightforwards like telling what crews or worlds are when they access the Tab.

They could do, for new players (one time only) an on-screen tutorial. Dim screen and circle things/brighten up that part then give a description and have a "next" button.

With the recent influxes of new users, I think also appropriate to release the tutorial campaigns to nonbeta to at least provide a reliable way to tutor the new players. Right now, the tutorials are not highlighted, which is bad as new players will wander off into straight into the game without knowing how everything works.
True story, I even got a question about small yellow triangles are, which I answered "gravity arrows".

I think the friends/crew/worlds etc tab on the right should be locked for new users until they beat the tutorial campaign, which should also be unlocked for them as aoi said

not 1 time, somewhere need to be button "Show tutorial again" (or sometihng like that), because a lot of ppl just skip this info and then , (then then reliaze that they cant understand the game) they dont know what to do, it's good to add tutorial button

Or, hide both Crew and World Tab until they are in a crew, own a crew, or buy a world respectively.

We could do a youtube tutorial on how to play EverybodyEdits.
It may seem silly to people who are used to it, but as Aoitenshi said, its overwhelming for new users.
