Kongregate downtime

Hi guys,

Kongregate users may experience some downtime while the game is being transferred to a new account (mine). Once finished, it will have a new link. The old link will autorefer to the new one, but I recommend you change your bookmarks anyway.

It was supposed to take 30 minutes but it's taking a lot longer than expected. I'm still mailing with them and if there's any noteworthy updates on the situation I'll post them there.

If this goes too long, all kong members should get some compensation.  Maybe make their current energy double their max or something.

I'd much rather know they are caring about the players on other sites(kong, armor games) than get a days worth of energy or 2, Missing that day won't kill you and this down time will better the game in general, I don't think kong users (including myself) need any kind of compensation. Plus, EE can't control how long the down time is, due to it being kongregates problem with the transferring, I know it doesn't mean much since downtime is still downtime, but it's not like the ee devs have any power whatsoever to bring it back up.

Some new info:

It looks like the porting got stuck somewhere and unfortunately the engineer who worked on it was out of the office yesterday.  He's back today and I'll ask him to look at it as soon as he gets in to the office.  Very sorry, this hasn't happened before!
