Fill tool or being able to place more blocks at a time

Instead of just putting a plain color to the background, it would be nice if you could put a background block to the entire background, without taking 30 long boring minutes to fill the entire background of a 400x400 world. Or even just be able to place, or erase 2x2 blocks at a time, or 4x4, etc.. I'm sure there are bots that can do that, but it would be nice if it was in-game.

And speaking of the background that we can already choose any color we want, why not add a background block that does the same thing, just not with the entire background?

It was for bots. But got removed really fast.

1) bgcolor ?
2) you can use speed boost to do it faster
