Lotsa questions.
When were woots added to the forum? Was it soon after they were implemented in the game? Who's idea was it to put them on the forum?
How did people react at first? How do you guys feel about them now? It seems like people really enjoy it. I like them, it's more personal than an up and down arrow.

They were added late February/early March of this year, long after woots became a thing in-game. Originally they were called "Thanks" but they were changed to match the game. I believe they were first brought up here. People seemed to mostly like them but they were quickly abused by people who wooted every post on every topic they could. Then the woot limit was introduced and things seem to be going pretty well now.

Yep, 20 per day. People had been wooting every single post in every topic they could so we implemented a limit.

Woots are Useless Great, but old in forums.
Change Replace the woot system to likes/unlikes in forums.
