Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Quieter Coin Sounds

Coins in EE are too loud, they hurt my ears every time I collect them.

There's a certain satisfaction that comes with collecting a coin, and the sound is rewarding, except for when it ends up piercing my eardrum, even when the sound is low. Muting would take away the satisfaction of grabbing coins and listening to music blocks.

TL:DR Coins are so, ear-piercingly loud. Pls make them quieter.

The topic is literally 3 sentences, you don't need a TL:DR //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

I agree though, compared to music notes, coins are LOUD.

You can still reduce the volume.

Re: Quieter Coin Sounds

While this is more of a "global" solution, you can change the volume on a per-application basis in windows. For instructions, click here.

You could turn down the volume of Google Chrome for example, where you have EE open. This would however turn down the volume in all other tabs (such as a youtube video playing.)

That's the problem with lowering the volume globally or on an app-by-app basis. My concern here isn't that coins are loud because the volume is high and it hurts.

My concern here is that compared to every other item in EE, coins are ear-piercingly loud. A good example of this is in music levels, where the music volume is at an appropriate level. You hear the nice tune that plays, and then the coin at the end is at least twice as loud as the music.

Sorry for the double-post but clearly you don't read the posts on the thread.

The coins in EE are too loud compared to other items in the same game. Music notes are quiet in comparison to coins, to the point where having notes at a mildly reasonable volume would make the coins play incredibly loud. My argument here is to have some audio normalization in-game where the coins aren't twice as loud as music blocks are.

Yeah, I agree. *Listens to quiet music, only to be interrupted by a loud coin*

There were several reasons stated as to why it's not a useless idea, and you're not adding a single thing to what you have already said.

why are you so angry about this suggestion? it's even one that makes sense.

if they actually turned down the coin sound, I wouldn't mute the game the second I can because of them.
