Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Building Sunset

Hi,
I worked hard in this world to make it beautiful. I inspired this world in an image that I saw (I will not remember what it was), so I dedicated myself a lot and gave a very good result. The minis are not easy, but they are not too difficult, then, come play and enjoy this beautiful world I did.
EDIT: Everybody Edits do not have a color that fits perfectly in the blocks on the map, then ignore this //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/sad

If you like, give me woot //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Here's the image I did not remember where she was. I did so with my hands using the paint to see the pixels, so it was hard to choose a piece that fit perfectly

Re: Building Sunset

The art is nice, but the gameplay could definitely use some work, such as:

-The Difficulty Curve. (there was none). Your hardest minis were first, then it was very easy,  then medium, then hard again.
-A lot of it was just precise timed jumps. Difficulty shouldn't rely on precision.
-Ingame art. The carnival background was pure eyerape. Have you ever stared at a spiral spinning, and when you looked away everything looked weird? I got the same effect from the carnival BG.
-Mini Skips. I noticed halfway through the level, there was a sign and portal letting you skip an apparently hard mini. I beat the mini, and it was just a dead end. You should either remove the mini, or make it so the player has to go through the mini.
-Exploits. Try thinking outside the box as to every weird way someone could beat a mini. I found some little edge jumps next to the spikes that let me skip entire minis.

The art, however was very nice. If you combine some art like this with these little "tweaks", you'll have a very nice level //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

Thank you for your feedback on my world. I'll take this for ever when I'm making a world. You really helped me a lot because I always think I'm right when I'm making a world. What about the carnival bg, he was the one who was a little fits with the beta block on the map, so I also thought that hurts the eyes a bit, but I had no choice, sorry for that.
The minigame I did that everyone could skip was why I had not finished this mini and I was too lazy to fix exploits and do it better, so I put this card to skip.

I promise to do better next time //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

Very well job using EE artist amds, you have proven you were the biggest liar in everybody edits (again).

For those who may be wondering, Amds took a picture from a Pixeljoint

rnburningsunrise.png

I didn't bothered to play the minis, I consider a copied level isn't worth playing.

I'm an old pixeljoint member and I don't appreciate you plagiarizing raynoa's work. What do you have to say for yourself?

Yes Yes! I did not remember the image I had used, and I used to paint some issues, but since you reminded, thank you.
But not used EEArtist, I've only been looking at the pixels in the paint and have been putting the blocks. It was duifícil choose a piece that would fit fully in the world, so I tried to do the sunset with buildings.

Oh wow ! You just did a perfect copy of an image that you didn't remember ?
Please teach me how to do that !

(The original picture first, your map in then, spot the differences, exept colors, but that's because of the EE colors)

Yes, I took a part of this picture that fits in the world who did, and I opened and edited in paint

Then why did you ask me if I could use EEArtist for your world?

You're claiming this piece of art as yours and you're denying that you used ee artist.

Useless.

I needed EEArtist to write white names in my world players who I know, then these players could make the minis in their names. Stop drama because of this topic, thx

Re: Building Sunset

Hey Amds,

I haven't played the minis yet, but I like the picture you chose to copy into the world. I suggest you put a sign in the world crediting the original artist though.

In the future, I'd like to see what art you can do on your own, not copying pixel by pixel. If you aren't sure how to do this, I can show you my ducks video so you can see the process I go through. Not only is it faster, but you can express yourself as an artist more and gain more respect for trying something difficult. Rarely is someone good at both minigames and art though, so don't feel like you need to force it. "Good" art made by you is better than "Great" art copied from a picture, make sense?

I love the minimap colors though. I hope you focus on how they look ingame in the future //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Re: Building Sunset

Consmackulations on "inspiring" the booting up the eeartist application to copy this image! I'm sure it was a creative effort clicking the "begin" button in order to give your reputation a boost! Then you smeared arrowminis on this with your "hands" and summoned eeartist images with your "brain". And then everyone is too noobish to realize that this art is the same photo below but with eeartist.

If you didn't boast about how "amazeballz" the art is and the minis themselves were good then it would be no prob.

Thank you for support, BEE. I always hear the good advice of all perfectly, and always carry with me forever. I already saw more than 3 times its video ducks, and found it interesting, I had already tried to do an art as well, but was not very successful, haha //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Re: Building Sunset

What, you copied this pixel by pixel? I was impressed before, but now I'm disappointed.

Kinda scary that people can easily get away with this stuff if the material is obscure enough. I mean, it is usually easy to tell where EE Artist has been used or something has been copied pixel by pixel, but if you're copying an image which is already pixel art, it makes it look more legit.

Re: Building Sunset

I would use EEArtist too, there's almost no real artist to make some good art.

(Don't come with "Oh! EEArtist is bad, you should do the art yourself!")

This is a false statement.
