Some time ago, Mrshoe made it so that open worlds only have a very limited set of blocks. His intention was to "throwback" a part of the game in remembrance of the beginning. However, it was done rather poorly and severely limited the usefulness of open worlds. I ask that the administration revert this action and allow a user to fully utilize their blocks. In this way we may more often work together to create, or so that we may have more of the mischievous fun that open worlds used to be.

I agree with this. We want the old open worlds back.
I still remember the time I used to make those open worlds with all the blocks available, and put the code in the title. The chaos though... But I still miss those times.

No, not ALL blocks. The use of boost was probably one of the reasons the blocks were removed. But I agree that more blocks should be added, again, not all of them please! (secret bricks, invisible arrows are some examples that shouldn't be added too)
That is one step to bringing more open worlds come alive. It's kinda sad that there are so few of them

I like having few blocks for the nostalgia feeling when I enter open worlds. I think the best way to go about it is to allow the person who originally opened the world to choose if he wants all blocks or limited amount. This way everyone is pleased.

I could see how some blocks (invisible, boosts) can be tiresome. The rest, however, I'd like to see back in open worlds.
Also, we're all on the same page as "no god-mode worlds" right?

If I remember corectly this is how it was:
When you are creating an open world there were 2 fileds: world's name and code.
If you leave the code field blank, the world is set to everyone can edit, with clicking (no drag) and with no god mode.
But when you are creating the world and enter the code as well, only you know the code and can give it to players. In these kind of worlds it was possible for players to use god mode and draw.

I don't really see a problem with this, you can make more structures, but Open Worlds are open for everyone, it can be trolled at any time, so I don't think the design is useful.

But then again, I don't have a good reason for not adding all the blocks in open worlds.

Actually, one incentive for playing on open worlds could be that all players had access to all blocks, despite whether they own them or not. That would be fun and maybe encourage people to play in open worlds more.

None of the solutions I've heard can truly "fix" open worlds. You say that boosts can be used to abuse, so you remove them. But so can any block. You can use arrows still. You can delete blocks that players are standing on. You can even delete their creations. If open worlds were ever enjoyable, describe what they were like back then because I really don't remember enjoying one. Open worlds have not changed much to me, and making them what they were like before won't create any sort of progress.

^Not that we have to sell you on the idea, BUT...
No one says open worlds need 100% fixing. If boosts are the worst aspect (which I feel they're closely tied with invisible gravity), we should rid those first.
(metaphor: a bumpy road is bad enough, but let's fix the bridge first.)

When open worlds where still a thing i used to have kind of base wars with my brother against other people, that was though before:
-usernames (identification)
-chat (communication)
-boosts (ruin the fun)
etc.
so i don't think you can get the open worlds back to what they where, the only possiblilty to make them enjoyable is to add normal blocks & decos but not any physicksc changing blocks (and no invisible arrows)(only ones would be the regular ones)
and readd the unsaved wordls form the same window.
