Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Recently I was browsing the web and I came across this really interesting diary-like narrative created by Rachel Kozy. It's basically the diary of someone who has schizophrenia, written in two voices (the person with the mental illness and the voices they hear inside their head).
Some parts were actually quite powerful from just looking at the pictures, but I'm not sure how accurately the book describes having schizophrenia since I do not have schizophrenia. Nevertheless, it looks like she did a lot of research, and is definitely a step towards bringing more recognition and representation for schizophrenia.
Here are some images from the site of the narrative:
I don't believe it's a published book, but you can view more here:

That is fascinating, thank you for sharing it.
I once watched a TED talk about hearing voices that I thought was also interesting. Here is the link if anyone is interested.
I just finished reading what she had on her site and her notes and process and thought it was very well done. I hope she goes on an does a similar thing for other types of mental health problems.

Looks very interesting, from a graphic design erspective as well, using different font styles to characterise a certain voice.
I'll have to read it.
It's pretty neat. The teared edges are a nice touch. The thought process that went into making this is superb.
10/10, would read.
