Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I would like this added, if the following conditions are satisfied:
- there is a restriction on the font size
- all font sizes that are allowed are readable
- there is a global option to turn them off
1. ofc
2. ofc
3. why is this needed if 1 and 2 are satisfied? I prefer to not stuff the profile page full of endless options for tons of tiny things if that's at all possible. Making things optional adds a lot more complexity than it would otherwise.

Would it really ever be used... besides as an annoyance?

For big formal topics with lots of formatting it'd be useful to make headers and section labels and stuff that actually stand out.

I don't think it's useful because we already have the header tags. Also, unless you're using the 'snow' theme, it's very easy to make custom headers using paint that blend in with the background, and with paint you can use your own custom font.

Yeah, but making that then uploading it then finally putting it in your post is a lot more complicated than BBCodifying it, and you can't highlight an image, either.

I currently use the header tags but they indeed don't stand out enough imo

Why would you want to go to all the hassle of making custom headers if you can just use [size]?

@D55: I personally don't find custom image titles complicated, but I'm also pretty decent at photoshop. So that is why I don't necessarily see the purpose in it. I have also used header tags before, and to me they work just fine. Although if the majority wants it, I don't see that adding a size tag is bad. I just don't think I'd use it often.

i don't want a [size] tag because then it would just be massively abused by sirzachthewarrior
10 years and still awkward. Keep it up, baby!

Another forum I go on that also has a younger demographic supports both font sizes and various fonts and nobody really abuses the tags at all. I'd say just don't allow any really big text.
