This is a good idea, except you'd have to see the three second splash screen along with the loading part every time.

Say if you go to http://everybodyedits.com/games/PWOmega. You see a splash screen for about three seconds. Unless there was some sort of ajax/iframe thing, it would have to load a new page for the tab, and the splash screen would show.
