"News" button doesn't work

When I click on the news button in ee, nothing happens. According to the web inspector, there was an exception thrown in getNews() in Flash.

Yeah, this has been there for a while.

Try clearing your cache/cookies.

I did both. Didn't work unfortunately.

Very possible.  Chrome is being buggy.  The getNews() throws an error a lot.  Not sure what's up with it.
