Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

EE Stock Market

In Everybody Edits, the price of the items in the shop are very predictable. They don't change as far as I can tell.

However, people would check the shop more often and therefore log into EE if there were sales and if the prices fluctuated depending upon if people were buying or selling items that they didn't want any more. This would make things more interesting, since you have to check often to see if there is anything that might be really cheap all of a sudden, and avoid buying expensive stuff.

Totally agree.  I plan on adjusting the prices of the smileys soon, and probably put a few things up for sale.

Re: EE Stock Market

It could be like in floddy's digbot, where the items that people don't buy very often automatically become cheaper, and the items that are very popular become more expensive.

Re: EE Stock Market

What is the purpose of this? What is there to sell in EE? If EE were a game where you collected coins that you then spend in the shop and those coins actually went somewhere when you spent them then fine mess around with the prices. EE does not have an economy. Although yes because of Mrshoe it now takes about a year or so to get every smiley and block (I guess that is part of the fun, you choose to be a creator or a player) there is literally no purpose to having a stock exchange ingame. People keep making topics like this I don't know if they are serious anymore.

This is hella gay

The point is to attract more people to log into EE, and therefore have a more active user base (since something might be on sale, you better hurry and get it and check often!)

Well, there's nothing to sell in EE at the moment, however other people could sell limited edition items for gems or energy or something, so that they could buy something else (like signs.) Or, they could re-sell the blocks that they have for a lower price (and then they would get the profit) and could use that energy to buy more things that they want. I've spent some energy into worlds and other items by accident and have no intention of getting them. I could buy it, but that's just wasting energy. I'd like to refund it.

Tl;dr I would like the market to be more competitive and liquid.
