Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

the hookjump speed is so faster that i cant even complete the first row, while in normal EE it beat 5 of those in 2 or 3 seconds

Whoa wait... So you mean EE is gonna disallow bots? SO ALL THE BOTS ARE GONNA HAVE TO BE RE-WRITTEN!?

So if you're making a .dll library, use the same kind of thing PlayerIO does. So that you just have to add a new source and the "using" line. I mean do the same methods and variables and classes. That's the only way I'm gonna continue in this game. If the bots are not as good as the previous one, I'm gonna quit.

All bots will must be rebuild. The "PlayerIOClient.dll" will be useless. But that doesn't mean somebody can't build a new SDK for EE Bot development.
It will allow with more simplicity to make online bots power directly by user's browser. No necessity for a bot to be downloaded.
But also if this will happen, it would be more easily someone to make a remake. New hacking methods will be unleashed, by example script injection.
But how the almighty Zumza123 predicts EE will least on flesh easily to 2017.

Amazing! I'm really curious to know how EE will be left with a giant update! I am hoping this update, and I bet you are too.

Ps: if you hold space, it will start jumping instantanly, shouldn't it have a delay like the flash EE?

Ornaw? Just because you can read the client side code easier doesn't mean that you can hack the server side of things.

It's a really possible hypothesis, since he IS a hacker.

Everything's a possible hypothesis. Yours has little credibility. In the way of argument, you're running some non sequitur.
Having the ability doesn't constitute the guarantee the outcome. E.g., you can give up all your worldly possessions on some spiritual trip. However, you're probably not going to take the journey. Plenty of folks are capable of murder, they aren't stupid enough to go try it.

Also, I get the vibe atilla doesn't care. If he does anything substantial, folks would know where to look. If he didn't, it wouldn't be worth worrying about.

Easily readable/modifiable client != vulnerable server.

That would return false.

"!=" is a relational operator, not an assignment operator. "=", "+=", etc. are assignment operators. There is a big difference between them.

It would return true. That was the point I was making. Having an easily readable and modifiable client does not suddenly make the server vulnerable to attack. Switching to HTML5 will not automatically turn EE into a vulnerable, buggy mess. The client's already modifiable and readable as it is, making it more so won't change much.

Re: [Client] HTML5 EE - Development Status

In fact, re-coding could quite possibly fix some bugs. But, if those pushing the server move get lazy, you could end up with more bugs than you started with. I figure an easily modified client would make for some fun skins. If you folks figure out how to make the server capable of verifying user movements (e.g., no moon jumping/super speeding) then you're pretty much in the clear, eh?
