Welcome to the new and improved(?) official community forums for Everybody Edits!
We're trying to make this community forum into the best of them all. (Not hard, considering we're the only ones left...) That means taking all the best parts from the last two forums - like contact with moderation, administration who can keep from throwing temper tantrums, and sysadmins that cares enough about the community to not let it waste away and die - with stuff that no forum until now has had, mainly contact with the EE devs, which until now was something that only sub-par EE remakes have had.
We asked tons of members of the EE forum community, and the majority of them were just as tired as we were of the admins on eeforumify.com and their temper tantrums and were ready to jump ship to somewhere better.
Unfortunately, we might run into some issues. Atilla and Meredith are going to be mad as heck when they find out that we've managed to save previous years of memories that they would have had destroyed, and not only that, but we've managed to turn them into a fully functional forum. There will probably be downtime and raids. All I can ask you guys to do is hold on while they blow off steam.
And to those of you who are worried about privacy risks, there are none. All information on these forums was publicly available before Meredith destroyed the old forums. Your passwords and usernames and emails are not here. The only things stored here currently are years worth of posts and topics. You'll have to re-register accounts. However, we do have the ability to link your old posts with your new account, making it like you never left.
Because you will be registering new accounts for an already-existing community, you can be sure that impersonation will be an issue. But anyone found to be trying to impersonate someone else will not be dealt with lightly. You will be banned for 6 months, so anyone thinking about trying it might want to think again.
