Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Basically, I wanted to put a button on there to link to a topic where you can get me gems in exchange for +reps, art, whatever. But suddenly, IT WAS GONE! So logically, I put it back, thinking maybe my computer f'ed up. But then I refresh the page and it says what it does now. I just want to know which mod/admin did it, and why I can't put it back?

Dude, you can't ask for gems on the forums.

*cough* Chat is the same -- but people can still OVERIDE the CHAT-ASK rule without a mod removing it!
Nowhere in the rules does it say you can't ask for gems, only chat. If a moderator or administrator were to say, "NO ASKIN FER TEH GEMZ" then I would delete the topic and shut up about the button. But the rules only say don't ask for chat. And plus, I'm not just asking for them, I'm bartering for them. I'm offering in return art, +reps, anything reasonable.

Do not replace button in sig. Doing so will result in a warning.
Based upon your signature, the mod responsible needs to learn how to explain them self. Also, note that no mention of gems was made, just the button itself. Also also, don't you think a pm would've been more appropriate than adding rubbish to your signature?

It wasn't me but we do have a clause that lets us remove content at our will.
"Clauses: The staff reserves the right to remove content, warn and ban users at any time for any or no reason. These rules are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to remove content at our discretion, and are not liable for any user-submitted content."
It was me. Dude, that button doubled the size of your sig. It was huge.

Pretty stupid, ain't it.

Over 300 pixels kind of huge? You could've just said! And now I see that you edited his signature again with the explanation. Can you give us a link to the button picture, 32OrtonEdge32dh?

OK, who changed my sig?!
It said "Sig way too big."

So can we see the pic?
If the button was over 47px in height, it violated the signature height rules.
ahh why didn't he put the button next to his current sig? cause 47px isn't alot.
@EDJ yes, I was.
@ cyclops It wouldn't have fit and would've been pushed to the next line making it too big.

119px in height, definitely putting your sig over the height limit. So what's the big deal?

What?
E. Signatures must not exceed 300px in height; this includes all images and text.
I'm either missing something, or 300 > 119
His current sig is 253 pixels high, apparently, since the button wasn't supposed to be bigger than 47 pixels.
I hate tall signatures.

Rule 3. wrote:E. Signatures must not exceed 300px in height; this includes all images and text.

His current signature is 253px. Button is 119px. 253 + 119 > 300px.
The thing is, it wasn't increasing the height! It was next to it! I'll be willing to show you in about 11 hours (11 am for me) if you let me put it back for under 30 seconds, just long enough to grab a screenie. I just don't get it. Maybe we're seeing different things? Because it was the exact same size as my flag counter and was right next to it.

If the image shows up vertically for anyone, we'll take it down. It isn't just about how you see it.
Also, that button was in violation of the 'no asking for gems' rule.
