Get out of bed, and get a feather from the pillow. Tickle the timer so it will laugh instead of countdown. If it doesn't work, look for a monster under the bed and convince him to let you out.

The floorspace under your bed is a massive trap door, Press the button again and you will fall down into an abandoned WWII shelter. Granted, you might break a few bones, but it's better than being disintegrated.
