Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Computers?

Just to make a conversation what do you think is the best computer type out of the main 3?

Linux, Mac or Windows?

Personally I like Mac because they are very "creative" and well designed. I know people will argue but its my opinion.

Start discussing!

Re: Computers?

Windows Sucks
Mac Sucks
...and there's no version for Linux, so here's my take:
---
Linux is great as a server platform. As a personal system, Linux can be liberating sometimes, but usually it's just annoying:

-Having to do so many tasks that you take for granted on other systems
-Lack of cross-application UI consistency
-The fact that the desktop and the apps aren't fully aware of one another. (No drag and drop support!)
-The steep learning curve
-The "Read The F***ing Manual" (or LMGTFY) culture of the userbase
---
Conclusion: Nobody wins.

Re: Computers?

It's just a matter of personal preference -- That's evident in the fact that you said fact, which is subjective.

Apple wins to me but I'm stuck with Windows.

Dial-Up-Connection, It's so slow it takes 30 seconds for my emails to load.

Re: Computers?

Windows - record for most viruses. But supports most programs. Great for gamers!

Mac - Not as many programs for mac as windows. Everything works seamlessly and fast, though.

Linux - Hard to switch to linux from anything else.

Conclusion - Nobody wins.

Hackers/virus-makers/whateverthehellyoucallthem want their viruses to get to the bigger share of computer users, so they write them for Windows computers.

Re: Computers?

I know that, which is why I use opera. It's secure AND has a couple features that make it stand out.

^Here we go with the opera advertising. (Go Opera anyways since it's awesome!)
I choose windows because I'm most used to it.   I tried a mac, and it was just annoying. I don't know about linux, so I choose windows.
