how can i do that at my forum??

i run a forum and i DUNNO!!! XD!!! lol, but i have other admins that know what there doing to help me (i do have forums but i own ones that you only get shout boxes, not announcements exept for one that was made by another guy but he made it for me about 4 days ago, maybe less

I can tell you.

What you do is

go to administration
click forums
click the edit button next to the forum you want
uncheck the boxes next to members that says Post Topics.
