Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Computer Club

Since there are no programming classes in 9th grade in my school (starts from 10th), I signed up for computer club.
It's really fun. First we are gonna build buzzers for like trivia competitions in out school, and then we are gonna build a Wii-Remote controlled smart board.
Today we started programming basic stuff in java.
I am so excited for this ^^!

Re: Computer Club

Java? They really should teach you a more general, important programming language... No offense meant to you or anyone else, but for most purposes their are much better programming languages than Java...

Re: Computer Club

I'm jelly.

My school needs to get into reality. It's a digital world, and they only have one teacher that teaches anything related to computers.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Re: Computer Club

My school teaches typing. They clearly think that's the only thing in the world important about computers.

Oh well, there's always CiS Computer Science

I am not sure I am allowed to take pictures. It says I have to have explicit permission from the principal or whatever.

Re: Computer Club

I hardly think my BS BCIS (That's crap Business (and?) computer information systems) class counts for a computer class. I'm not even in it yet (it's mandatory, woot woot), but it sounds so stupid. "Okay, now double click on the internet and open up Microsoft office Word 2007. Okay, now type in H-t-t-p-semicolon-slash-slash-w-w-w-dot-[wat]-dot-c-o-m and press enter"

Re: Computer Club

Gee. They should start with a nooby language like C# and then move on with more advanced languages like C++
But okay, your school, your brain. It's fine.

Oh and, having better, faster typing is an important trait. When you are going to be using computers later on in life
you don't want to be the one who has to look at the keyboard.

That shouldnt be a problem, it's not like you are dealing with government-type stuff, right?

Whoops, I slipped up with my punctuation. Yes, I meant to type colon. Or I should've.
