GIMP Bug - Why does this happen? HELP

Whenever I use GIMP, and I open the Brushes window, this happens.

It doesn't show the brushes, but instead shows what's UNDER it. When I go to a different page, it's STILL THERE. It's really annoying! DDD:

When you open the brushes window.... What? Just open up the window of the image you're editing, the whole brush dialog thing will come with it.

When I click the brush image when using a brush, to change my brush. It stays like that. And when I close GIMP it turns into a white box. Sometimes it eventually gets fixed, but most of the time it stays there for like an hour then crashes GIMP.

Interesting...
What are your computer specs?   I'm going to assume it can at least handle GIMP, but perhaps not... I mean, my old computer was total crap and it crashed all the time.

easy drag it over the taskbar and drag back this happens to me with meh editing
