Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

"Group Projects"

So, one of my teachers assigned us a project. Except we had to work with a partner. And my partner hasn't done anything. We have had a month to do this, and I finished my half on the second day. It is due tomorrow, and he's probably asleep right now. He wouldn't even let me do anything, because he said he wanted to do it, even though HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING!!! I am so angry, I'm gonna get a terrible grade now because my partner couldn't give a ****. It's not that he's stupid, he's just a really strange person, and when I got assigned with him, everyone immediately felt so bad for me.

Re: "Group Projects"

I'm sure your teacher will understand.

From personal experience, when you present your work [to the teacher or classroom], it helps to know what you're talking about. If you can show your teacher that you put 1005% effort, he/she should grade accordingly. They understand that some members aren't good partners and don't do work.

For example, I had this project on electromagnetic- and hypnotic-therapy for my health science class. Three people: first chick did her share, second chick did nothing, and I did my share. The first female was absent on the day we presented our slideshow (which was supposed to be a tri-fold, but the second girl didn't bring in the supplies (which was her only chore)), leaving just me and the person who did nothing in the project. Being my amazing self, I knew what I was talking about and even taught my teacher a few new things about blood's electromagnetic properties.

After a while she asked that I stop talking entirely and the the 2nd chick start off from where I stopped, and she had no idea what she was talking about. I ended up getting a great grade, but she did not. Case in point.

If he/she is the type of teacher that will grade you based on the overall quality of the project, finish the project right now. I'm sure, whoever your partner is, they won't complain when you bring in the completed project tomorrow.

Present your half of the work to the class and tell your partner to present the other half.

Re: "Group Projects"

Ive had some stupid group members for school before, If its a nice teacher I can explain On how some members are not doing their part. When Its a mean teacher... ahh... I just end up doing it all... then the lazies who did nothing think they did a great job.. maybe not the smartest thing to do but at least I pass.
