Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Extreme Engineering [1st place winner for Video Game Design in Wa!]

I just got back from the Washington Technology State conference and I got 1st place in Video Game design!

Here's the game: Extreme Engineering!
With highly compressed audio, http://whff.frogbox.es/download.php?file=earsbentf2
If you want to put this in to /sound/, here's the uncompressed music in all of its glory. http://whff.frogbox.es/download.php?file=udahli2z18

If you have trouble unzipping the files, try http://whff.frogbox.es/download.php?file=8op4sjqbcd
Have fun!

Supadorf, if you're willing to figure out how to compile a C++ program for Mac, you could play it if you want.
I'm also working on a Wii homebrew port, if you want to play it that way.

Looking at the .doc, it seems pretty goddamn awesome. I love how you can have it windowed instead of full-screen, which I find to always be key in anything.
There were a few typos, like 'wrecklessly', but I still like it a lot, I just wish I could get past the third level. lol.

edit: Okay, got to frog creek, time to build some extreme stuff. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Thanks. Zoey, the text is in the state that it was burned to CD. I literally conceptualized and wrote all the text up two hours before the deadline without proofreading it at all haha. I'm keeping them for historical reasons.

I like the game, but you had it zipped as 7z, I think it'd be best if you compressed it as a .zip so those that don't have 7-zip and WinRAR could uncompress it, I couldn't get pass level 1...but I didn't know what the things did.

a3person, in case you didn't see:

I know that people have problems with 7z all the time //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

My bridges kept glitching up and I couldn't get past level 1... I don't get how you attach the bridges, because they only reach a certain distance. I also seemed to fall through the roads when it worked...?

Aslai, I don't think you read the whole post, I had no problems unzipping

I can't figure out if you failed to comprehend either Aslais response or, for some bizarre reason, your own post.

I liked the game, but i think you could improve the graphics a little bit, at least the menu.

Here's my suggestion: 1tBFy.png
