Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Bronies

A brony is anybody who loves My Little Pony. (But usually an adolescent male)

It's a kids show? Do you not know what you think is terrible?

It was made for tiny girls, that is why the brony thing is so interesting.

They are going to brainwash every single person on earth, we must do something before they take over the world. They are almost taking over the internet. They're probably going to turn everyone into tiny little girls.

Re: Bronies

It's really just a fad. Bronies are only bronies because it's popular to be one. I'm sure it's a great cartoon, but it's nothing really special.

That doesn't make sense. You admit that it's a great cartoon (speaking in absoulte) yet you say people are only bronies because it's popular? lolno. We are bronies because we like that great show. Also, saying it's a fad it like saying being a fan of anything is a fad. To be extreme, you are saying that religion is a fad.

Re: Bronies

I'd like to be one, but I live with parents and siblings with my monitor in clear view of everyone. That's not a good combination.

On top of that, I have no time. Haven't seen a single episode.

There's nothing wrong with the show, I don't see why them viewing it would be a problem.

You've never heard someone say "I'm sure X is great" before? Do you ever talk to people or are you too busy watching MLP? It's a conversational phrase meaning, "You like it, and I see where you're coming from, but I'll pass," or something along those lines. Anyone that speaks to human beings on a regular basis knows what certain phrases are.

And it is a fad. Can you explain to me what makes this show so amazing that people obsess about it? Maybe that would help shed some light on the situation. And I don't mean literally shedding light. I can imagine you getting confused over that phrase.

Here's a another great example of you failing to grasp the use of common English phrases.

I took that phrase out of context, my apologies. It's hard to explain, you either like it or you don't. i.e. You may like EE but some people don't.

P.S. Thanks for all those ad hominems, making me respect you more. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/wink

Re: Bronies

MLP is a pretty awesome show, the animation is nice, although I think there could have been plenty of character developement in the first three episodes, and I haven't really seen many episodes other than that, although I read Cupcakes. Really mild.

Re: Bronies

I tried to get into it, but it couldn't. It's just another fad and eventually it will fade. I don't personally see the big attraction. It's a TV show made for little girls. I don't think it's cute or funny or why it ever became popular.

It's lame at first, then it becomes popular, then something else stupid becomes popular, and it becomes lame again.

Example: Care Bears were first introduced in the 1980's. After their hay day they became less popular. Then in the 2000's they came back and they were big for a while, then they just died down again. Eventually being replaced with something equally as stupid, Like Barbie Dolls or Cabbage Patch kids.
