Well, since there is no turning back, no second chances, how do you think of it as? I mean some people treat everyday like the last their last, people have set goals they want before they hit it. As where some people just couldn't really care less, and just get on with life. There are some people who didn't even want to be born >.<.
I personally just plow on with life, and don't really plan to die (I know I will, but there is no point worrying about death, although I should.
So how do you think of it?

Sometimes I call myself a mistake and should never have been born but I got over it and continue with it I think life if okay it's just there are so many things that can make it seem like a torture and then there's things you regret!
I think that life is a bit boring, politics, work, school... Life needs action! Like in video games!
Every second, I sit here, wasting my time that could be better spent doing slightly more productive things, like creating something besides a forum post.
I've been doing this for years.
Typing. On the computer. In the living room.
For the past... sevenish years. I don't know.
Do I regret things already? Yeah. I regret not doing a lot of things as a 'child'. I regret things I did do, as a child. Yet I don't lose (much) sleep over it, because I know there's no point. The past is the past, every second ticks by, I grow a second older, I'm a second closer to dying.
I don't care.
I'm going to die one day. That's a fact. That day might be tomorrow, 20 years, 60 years... I don't care. I don't even see why people would live every day like your last. That would mean doing something fulfilling every single day. That would mean enjoying life every single day. I don't think I could possibly stand being so happy. Happiness, living, isn't life.
Life is happiness. Life is sadness. You've got to have both to live what I would call a complete life. Sure, have fun knowing that you're so **** happy you could explode, but that just means you'll fall harder when you're hit with sadness.
I have goals, sure, like rule the world, write a book, live to 2100, and just generally be somewhat happy, but my life's completeness doesn't depend on reaching those goals. I'll be fine with dying in the most humiliating way, like getting eaten by a dandelion.
Sure, it's good to plan out life, but I'm not very good with sticking to plans, so I look to the future and do what I want today, and I know that eventually my life will be better than it is now. It'll get better after I finish high school, so here I am, doing what I always do, wasting my life away by waiting. And yet I find that I don't care, because I enjoy it, if only for the moment.
Although, I sort of do have a vague idea of what I want my funeral/viewing to be like... There'll be party hats. And the imperial march. And 42. And just geeky things like that that I'll say, 'Damn straight. I am awesome, and you know it,' because I just love references to things.
And for the record, I was a mistake. I wasn't supposed to be born. My brother was a mistake. Most people are mistakes. When I say 'mistakes', I mean they weren't planned, they made a stupid mistake by... well, no one wants to hear about that. But it was a mistake, and a lot of people are glad they made mistakes, because like death, mistakes are also a part of life.

You can. Although it is not advised to go around doing stupid things, go skydive, hang-glide or bungee jump, that will sure make you feel like you lived..

Well life needs action, but you must know you won't get injured or die. Because you know, when it happens in games, you don't feel anything, but... when you die, you die. That's the point.
Because of that, I am waiting for a reality-glasses thing. Where you can get inside the game, but when you die, you just go back into your life. Real life.
I personally think life is pointless. When you know that you're going to die sooner or later, why keep the human race alive? Because, really, that's the only reason we don't all die. Besides, when the sun gets all death-y, we're all going to die anyway. So, I ask all of you, what's the point?
Some might say "to have fun on the way", but on the way to what?
This all leads into religion. Nobody knows what religion, if any, is "right". So nobody can really tell what happens when you die until you actually die. And what if nothing happens? You just aimlessly roam the earth with all the other dead people? Pointless. that's what life is.
Wow, this post made me really depressed
My 1337th post!
Life is a game. When you die it's game over. That's my opinion on life.
In my honest opinion there is no true definition of life, let alone a thought of it. It's impossible to think of life as a whole. You can think of some aspects at some point, but it's nearly impossible to think about your whole life in just a few moments, not even a year. Mostly because none of us have even lived our whole lives yet, but also because a lot of the stuff you can't even remember.
As for the meaning of life, if it's not 42, I don't know what it is. Everyone has a different meaning of life. It could be to give, give everything you own to less fortunate people. It could be to live life to the fullest and not care what others think of you, or to not care about how many of other peoples' lives you indirectly damage along the way and just ignore sins. Some people think they should be the nicest they can throughout their life so that they can get to heaven after they die, others hide behind their God and use their religion as an excuse to call fat and gay people sinful when really they're the true sinful person. Then there's people that don't believe in a God or an afterlife, and there's two sides to that story too; some of them actually have morals, that state that honestly while the religious say that they don't steal because they'll go to hell for it, the atheists don't steal because it's kind of a jerky thing to do. Then there's the atheists that never know what they're talking about and decide they can do whatever they want because apparently it's "stupid to think that God exists" and that "All religious people are total idiots".
Woah, I just rambled quite a lot.
I guess the meaning of life to me is to try my best to tolerate all the idiots in the world without committing murder.
Only when I see my death will I know what my life was, so for the time being I'll keep it beside me and not forget it's there.
I think a lot of people are having a hard time imagining what death would feel like, and have formed some type of irrational fear of it. To that I say...
?I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.?
? Mark Twain
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

How I feel to be alive:
I'm grateful to be alive, but that doesn't mean I should fear 24/7/365/my whole life that I'm gonna die today, tomorrow, or in a few days. When I'm a 70-year-old or so, I should be a lot more worried. I usually do feel terrible when I get in an accident, for example a few days ago I injured my foot. I might even go ahead and die if I'm really injured. I want to die to go to heaven, but I don't want to face pain, and I want my family to be happy, so I'll just stay alive anyway.
How I think life as:
I think of it kinda like a video game, and I probably have 09,050/10,000 health right now. If I have a game over, I lose. Bam. The game cartridge comes out of the PC/Wii/Gamecube/PS/Xbox/DS/Game Boy/whatever, then it gets switched to the game where I am in heaven. There isn't a way to win, but there is your own personal goals like Minecraft, or whatever. In other words, 42.

Life is life. Te End.
Seriously though, I see no point to life. Atoms were in the right place at the right time. Evoultion happened, and now I am typijng this post. Big whoop. I want to live life as I please. In fact, I'll just quote The Oatmeal:
The Oatmeal said:
Does it help you cope with the fact that you, yourself are a bag of meat sitting on a rock and that someday you will DIE and you are completely powerless, helpless, and INSIGNIFICANT in this wake of a beautiful, cosmic, hellstorm we call existence?
That is basically life. I am just a person, who will one day die, as will everyone else. There is nothing else to say.

I find life as a choice, to believe or not to believe. You have all of the time in the world to choose. But, there are distractions from that. Like, Work, Politics, School, etc. You have the time to choose to believe in Christ until you die. You try to live life the best you can.

That's your opinion in life and no one should criticize you for it.
Unless you go too far with it.
Life is just a natural computer that came to be simply because the modifications to simple life that caused it to survive allowed it to survive and brought about us. We just have a mind and body of signals that evolved this way to maximize our chances for survival. The only reason we can sense and perceive the world is because there is then a greater chance to live. The only thing we are here to do is to reproduce and or increase the life span of ourselves or other human beings, the latter being possible simply because we are slightly more advanced than our closest relatives. The only thing we can do in the end is die, whether from another organism that has adapted to our changes or to age. Although unless we advance in transportation or protection in technology we will be enveloped in the flame of the sun and all our progress will be useless. We are just a computer program that has been created by pure chance. It is a very flawed program too. A small change can bring havoc to our life. For example a disease that we are not immune to will easily cripple the body if we cannot fight it off. Our immune system can only fight what it was programmed to fight, for example with HIV we have absolutely no way for our body to stop it. The only way our body could is due to mutations, which allowed the creation of the program in the first place.
This has been bugging me a lot recently, knowing that everything we do will be for nothing because we die.
Even if our brains are simply electrical signals(and some chemical ones), they are very complicated, so it is unlikely that if would be possible to transfer our whole self to a computer. But if we freeze out brain, it may be preservable until the time when such technology is attainable. A problem, is the question of whether or not a lack of a body will have any affect on the brain's activity.

I have to disagree with you on most of this. What we do will have an effect on life after death.
Life is different things. I think of it as a game, and sometimes serious. You have to life your life, and money, family, and happiness is how you live your life, you can live it yourself. It's one of those lucky things, that you got to live, and we are what we are. god loves every one of us and he sent us down he to live. To make mistakes, to be happy, and to live a good life. A mistake is like losing a life in a game, it depresses you, but you move on.
Family is my most important thing in my life and I cherish every moment I have with them. Life is full of feelings, activities, and friends. And you can choose which you want in your life.
I do not fear death, because when I'm old and I've done my job, I will not need to live, for I will go see my family. Death is important to. I think of it this way;
Death is like a vegetable. We don't want to have it, but it is part of life. ~67
Life is amazing and you must enjoy it while you have it. I always think of it a chance, to see the world.
Lets end this before I start talking nonsense. =P
Cattle die, and kinsmen die
And so must one die oneself;
But there is one thing I know which never dies:
The fame of a dead mans deeds
I see life as a quest for securing wealth and prosperity for the coming generations of your nation. We do not live for personal wealth or glory, but for the coming generations. I as a Swede can only thank my ancestors for their cultivation of Swedish soil and their hard work that developed Sweden to the great nation that I was born into. It wasn't accomplished by individuals getting rich or wealthy, it was accomplished by hard working men and women with high moral standards and work ethics.
That of course if we want a prosperous society. If we want degeneration and decadence, we could always keep on living like today.
