Saw the trailer. About Ralph not wanting to be bad anymore - yadayada - Goes to different games. So far, i like the trailer.

Lots of things wrong with this movie, but I'm probably gonna watch it anyway.

1- This video game doesn't exist, yet Disney finds the money and time to weasel their way into using PacMan ghost, Bowser, and others. Why can't they do this with the MAIN CHARECTER?
2- Stupid puns. In the commercial, you see that Ralph is in "Game Central Station", and he's eating a giant cherry. Phahaha. So stupid.
3- He just looks insane. Huge hands, tiny head, unbelievably red nose, and the rest of his body is just plain fat.

Overall, the idea is good, but execution has some flaws already.

1. It's like Toy Story or Roger Rabbit, they wanted to do an original story about video games, so naturally they got cameos yet an original main character.
2. Remember that this movie is for children, too.
3. He's an 80's arcade game character, what can you expect? =p You're just not used to him. Imagine never seeing Mario or Sonic before until today, what would you think?

adding to what drykirby said.

1: if they were going to make ganon have an identity crisis, would you want to watch it? also, every video game character cameo costs money.

2: i don't see how him eating a cherry is stupid. the point is that he lives in a world where everything is old video game style, and cherries are almost the only food in old games.

3: the whole joke is how weird he looks because that's how all bad guys looked in famicom/atari games look. it's a joke.
