I definitely think that SCR (along with abortions) should be completely legal.   If a woman doesn't want to carry a child to term, she shouldn't have to.   If that woman wants to contribute to scientific knowledge, she should be able to.

Good stuff, stem cells are the way to curing the most horrible diseases. Shame the primary research facility is in America where it has been banned because of stupid conservative religious nutjobs. I hope those people damage their spinal cords and then beg for stem cell research to be continued.

This is actually not true, at least not where I live, and very stereotypical. I support stem cell research, and I know tons of other religious people that do.
