Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

The reason Obama won.

Surely a small group of protestors represents the Obama-supporting demographic as a whole.

Don't be stupid.

I know it'd be hard for someone like you to understand, but maybe.. JUST maybe, that's a small example of "Typical Obama Supporters."

Ah... Who am I kidding? Think what you want about it.

^ This is exactly what you did.

"Reason Obama won is because of these types of people"

Supa says " no, this is why you are wrong "

And then you come back with the same exact thing, but calling him stupid.

I like how Tako gave Kirby a warning for saying his VERY ignorant reasonings saying he's "Derailing the topic" yet everyone sprouts into religion.

Otherwise. I liked Obama because I never really see the political party that I like and want to run the country get any POSITIVE Attention. Glad he won and not Mitt. +REP IF YOU CAN GUESS MY POLITICAL PARTY!

There's a difference between talking about how you're Drock's relative, which has nothing to do with politics, across 8 posts and talking about religion, which has something to do with politics, across four.

Just so it's clear: This is not the thread to debate religion. If anything, keep it to Christianity/Mormonism and how it relates to politics.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election

this thread is really filled with nasty comments on both sides of the argument

I know people regurgitating stuff they've heard without a thought for themselves is extremely irritating and immature, but it's up to you to be mature enough to not overreact

and so I feel less like a party pooper I'll add that you should all know that everything you hear(especially in the media) isn't necessarily reliable; I personally think Romney had no shot because of all the times he said something completely false, which was probably due to him talking to a misguided person pulling fake statistics out of thin air

and and the president doesn't have full control over everything in the country, the reason a lot of liberals who are for the idea of socialized healthcare are against "obamacare" is because in order to get the bill passed through republicans in the house it needed to be extremely watered down, and comments saying that the president is somehow responsible for gas prices are so ridiculous that anyone who makes that argument deserves to be laughed at

I remember when I was a lot younger I had to read this book about a kid who ran for president, and he won by telling every kid throughout the country that he would eliminate homework. Good times.

I remember also reading about how gas prices went down and it was also because of Obama being a terrible president and making people not have the money to afford gas. Then they went back up again because Obama did more bad stuff.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election

This topic has turned into a general politics topic. The election is over, Mitt Romney is as useful as a rock to us all, so I'm going to close this topic. If anyone would like to continue talking about politics, I implore you make your own topic.
