Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: So you have a cookie.

@Takoman: I'm offended. I have 6 warnings.

@D-Rock:

1. Yes. It would be right after the part where I say "1.," believe it or not.

2. You just completely changed what you said for this number, it went from "Jobs are hobbies" to "your way of dealing with it isn't better." If you somehow noticed how I posted a way to solve the problem, you're delirious. There's no true way of telling who can't get a job and who refuses to get a job apart.

3. Cool. Now you wanna know in how many states the average person on welfare makes more than the average teacher? 8. 8 states. Now you wanna know the definition of a hobby, from the first thing that comes up from Dictionary.com? "an activity or interest pursued for pleasure or relaxation and not as a main occupation: Her hobbies include stamp-collecting and woodcarving. " Uh-huh. Go ahead. Keep arguing.

Part about being greedy: You're greedy because you feel that people who don't work deserve more than people who do.

Part about results of communism: I'm glad you understand that communism is bad. Pretty sure I win now.

Part about cold-heartedness: No. As I said, I have no solution. That includes that I don't want to not give welfare. (Double Negatives ftw!)

Part about Tacos: Why the hell would he harm you?

Would you say that "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" is a fundamentally good idea. From everything you've said, you seem to support it highly.

Re: So you have a cookie.

My Q: Or is your plan to exclude people with disorders as such and make other people who don't work? That's unfair and annoying.

Your A: OMFG, I've said it a million times, people who CHOOSE not to work.

(hint: underlined, bolded, italics for the people with special needs for reading. )

hurrr+durrr+quot+****+quot+let+the+quot+horse+quot+rest+in+peace+_fba1438c5228debdecf92c5275233284.jpg

2. I was answering your post, not mine. If you are kind enough to quote what you posted because I didn't see it? I did join in the topic and didn't read all the posts.

3. I said they are more like hobbies.... not THEY ARE a hobby. When I look at the teacher, and then at the person who supposedly makes more with welfare, both are doing what they want to. Both are happy? Do you hate happiness?

Next, how does something I say others do and support them for it make me greedy? I really don't understand that.

After that, I said previous communisms have failed, but so have past democracies. Again. "Hurr, Imma walk around and act like I won"
Lost all respect for you with that statement, even if it doesn't matter to you.

Now, you are contradicting yourself and people who support their argument but arguing against it.. I can't say anything then, because you answered your own question, and so you should NOT be complaining.

Interesting how you respond to the @tako as like it's @xputnameherex....

I support that you have no idea what you are talking about and have no idea how hard this would be to implement and the problems it would cause, maybe if you had a good argument I'd jump aboard but I haven't heard anything good. A good argument sways the other side, unless they are stubborn, which I assume you are pretty stubborn.

You are twisting my words to how you'd like them to fit, but if you look back, they are not what I said exactly. Me? I take your quotes, my quotes, and tell you why.

*sigh* I can't tell if you are just a terrible arguer or if you are really stubborn because I can't get anything out of you without you calling me some sort of name...

Lol, xputnameherex, I like that little story. It made me laugh because that's pretty much how it goes here xD.

I have a short story too that I heard, and you might have heard it before. It's about Libtard DemocRats, and I thought it was pretty funny.

-- So, I asked my neighbor's daughter yesterday what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said that she wanted to be the president some day. Both of her liberal democratic parents were standing there, so I asked her "What's the first thing that you'd do as president?" She responded with "I would give food and shelter to all the homeless and the poor." Her parents smiled.

I said "That sounds like a great plan, but you don't have to be president to do that. Every day, you can just come to my house and do yard work, such as mowing the lawn, picking weeds from the garden, watering the lawn, and trimming the grass. For that I'll give you $50. Then, after you're done each day, we'll drive to the mall, and you'll give your $50 to the homeless guys sitting around there for food and shelter. Sound good?"

As soon as I finished talking, she looked me straight in the eye and asked "Why don't you just get the homeless guys to come do the work, and you pay them the $50?"

To that, I said "Welcome to the Republican party."

Her parents haven't talked to me since. --

Don't her and her parents sound like Obama voters? lol

Please abstain from name-calling.

Your story is very fascinating but complete garbage. You are saying that instead of using tax revenue to help the unemployed*, we should cut off all funding and assume they'll drag themselves out of their hole - a hole that they either were inevitably pushed into or dug themselves**. I see why Republicans are generally religious. You'd have to believe in miracles to assume that can happen this century.

None of us know the trials Obama - or any preceding president, for that matter - must go through to make change. None of us know the gravity of a tiny refinement like this. While it may appear that it's common sense to just force perfectly capable people to work, I'm sure there are a plethora of consequences that must be avoided that neither you nor I can foresee.

The welfare system is flawed, yes, but completely removing it is unconstitutional and miserably misguided on many levels.

*The "little girl works to help the homeless" model
**The "all the homeless miraculously find a job" model

Re: So you have a cookie.

Takoman,

I know that the story made it seem as though we should cut off all help to the poor, but I was mainly picking at it for those who do use the welfare system when they are perfectly capable of attaining a job. It is also an exaggeration, since we don't give our entire paycheck (the $50 in this story) to the poor. Also, I'm against religion lol.

I do see your point completely, though. Nobody can predict exactly what this president, or anybody in the office will actually do. The story is just more out of annoyance of how much that system is abused. I also don't like that fact that lots of liberals (of course not all) think that it's okay to just take from the rich and give to the poor, just because the rich have the money.

To wrap this up, I definitely don't think that the welfare system should be removed entirely, but somehow be more strict on those that are fully capable of working.

Re: So you have a cookie.

Yes, that is the only major flaw and has remained untouched by both liberals and conservatives for years. There must be some reason, I have no idea though.
