Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Straight from Yahoo!, this is a very amazing story (video) about an amazing man (a sergeant) who has saved lifes by talked hundreds of people out of jumping over the Golden Gate Bridge.

The comments below it are mostly equally inspiring.
He does a lot better than I would. I'd just push off the bridge.
You know, the people who save people's lives "in action", with their limp bodies slung over their shoulders, they're the people who get the praise. But this man saves hundreds of lives, and does he get remembered by all? Nope. So why not? It's all in the action. People love an action-packed story. They just don't care about the talking, the convincing; which is to say the part that stops thousands, if not millions, of people from commiting suicide every year. /endrant
Bump. I want more people to see this.
