Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Sandwiches

Do you like sandwiches? Do you eat them regularly?

What kind of filling do you use? What kind of bread?

I need some recipes. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Re: Sandwiches

For anything with meat, lettuce used instead of bread is healtheir and I think tastes better.

But for sandwhiches like PB&Js, I use wheat bread.

Some kinds yes, but some wheat bread is actually delicious.

White bread is just empty calories.   Also, I forgot about Nutella.   Amazing with pancakes.

Re: Sandwiches

Who puts cheese at the bottom, and not the top??   I'm sorry, but your sandwich making skills are far below exceptional.

Actually.. with cheese at the bottom, you can taste more of it.

It looks silly but you get more flavor.   It's like.. eating saltine crackers with the salt part at the bottom.

Re: Sandwiches

Calories are good for growth and energy and whatnot. Wheat bread tastes like health food and is tougher than white bread. You could sleep on white bread, and then eat it for breakfast when you wake up. When sleeping on wheat bread you wake up with crumbs everywhere, and it's like sleeping with a rough blanket.

Nutella is amazing with everything. Speaking of pancakes, peanut butter is also good on pancakes. Apparently not everyone does that.

But it's easy to have too many calories.   Calories can turn into fat.

"Like health food"?   Health food can taste good.   And that's probably because bread wasn't meant to be sleeped on.   I like icecream, but I wouldn't like to sleep in it.

Re: Sandwiches

I mostly have white bread with tuna, sweetcorn and mayonnaise. I also like cheese sandwiches and the occasional chicken sandwich.

CAN turn in to fat.

The health food I am referring to does not. It tastes like cardboard. The commercials aren't kidding when they say that stuff tastes like cardboard.

But the fact that you can sleep on it peacefully just adds another point to white bread.

We are not talking about ice cream. Ice cream is cold and wet, bread is warm and dry.

Re: Sandwiches

1) Toast 2 breads
2) Cut 2-3 slices of tomatoes
3) Take some lettuce, wash and then dry it. You'll also need ham or cooked bacon (haven't tried with bacon yet) and 1 slice of cheese and pickles (yum) if you want.
4) Spread the butter all over both slices of toast. Don't put too much butter or it won't all melt.
5) Put them on in this order: Toast -> tomatoes -> (pickles) -> ham/bacon -> (cheese) -> tomatoes -> toast.
6) Enjoy
Seriously, try that out.
It's delicious //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile

Not if you put it in the freezer.

P.S. Health food is nasty.

CAN turn in to fat.

I'd rather eat more and get less calories from it, than eat a litle bit of food worth the same calories.

Not all health food tastes good.   Just as all high-calorie foods also don't taste good. Having a few spoonfuls of nothing but mayonaise isn't health food, is incredibly high in calories, and would taste disgusting.   I can have one strip of bacon for 100 calories, or I can have 5 strips of turkey bacon, which tastes pretty much just as good, for the same amount.   That's 5 times more food for the same amount of calories, without sacrificing flavor.   You can have good food without it being soaked and dripping with melted animal lard.

When it comes to eating, which is the main purpose of food, nope.

We were also talking about eating, not sleeping.   Temperature depends.   The bread in my freezer isn't warm.

Re: Sandwiches

Look, even in a sandwich topic, one can show an appreciation for ice cream, so, if AzurePudding states that he likes, ice cream, well, then, I will reply

roflbot.jpg

In fact, let me share my love of macaroni and cheese.

qKwiE.gif

If you want to comment on that, then think, and remember:

Anyways, to stay on topic, my favourite breaddystack would have to be the nutty gum and fruit spleggings, which is known in Capitalist America as "peanut butter and jelly." I regularly eat them. In fact, for the last ten minutes, where I have been watching all of you talk about what should not happen or be eaten, I've been thinking in my chair,

So, cheer up, okay? Let's not bash upon each other.

THAT'S HOW I LIKE MY WHITE TOAST. COVERED IN PEANUT BUTTER. YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TOAST WHEAT BREAD? IT BURNS, SUCKER, I SAID IT BURNS!! THAT'S A SAFETY HAZARD.

If you put it in the freezer, it's cold and dry. If you put it in the microwave, it's warm and wet. You can't get cold together with wet unless you take things to the extreme and throw soaked bread outside in the winter.

Agreed.

Don't know about the pickle, but to go along with that sandwich, we're going to need some Bacon Salad
