Minecraft server

Hey guys, a few of us Coldstorm types have a minecraft server we're building on (survival mode).   Right now we're using griefprevention so if you're just looking to troll it won't be much fun, but if you're looking to build stuff, send me a message and if you're cool I'll link you to the server and whitelist you.   Right now we're building fun things, if enough people get involved we might start making adventure and parkour type things on the server, as well as other things to keep people entertained.

PS Supadorf24, we have confiscated your giant hideous tower and adapted it to make everybody happy.   Well, you probably won't be happy, but everyone else seems to like it.

This seem fun, I would do it, but I only play Minecraft on my xbox. Good luck though.

How many people do you have on the server? I already have a server that has grief protection. That server usually has about 5 people on and there's a lot of room left to build. Can you beat that?

Fully survival and no creative.

Nah Alex its all survival mode now.   We'll try adding some PVP and other things if more people are interested, but I doubt we'll add any creative mode things.

Added lexatu and Muffan to the whitelist; I'll pm you both with the server IP.
a3person, you can terraform if you slowly gather all the blocks to do it, but that would take a long time I bet.

This server is going to have a lot of people from EE. Can't wait until that happens, servers like this are very fun when there are a lot of people, especially people you know.

Yeah it would I'll just stick with learning how to build better houses and terraform elsewhere. Hopefully I can find the perfect land so I wouldn't have to terraform as much

It IS Mustang's server, we just moved it to a permanent server location.   You're never on CS so apparently you never got the info.   LOL.

Seems a lot of people never got the info.   Woot side effect, I suspect.

Jeez, does TCG or Zoidy even know about the server?   We all assumed they got distracted and stopped coming.   But they're never in CS either, so I dunno.

Sorry for never being on the server. I'm downloading a 2.2 GB game these few days (it takes only some hours but I get errors so I have to redownload), so Minecraft is currently unplayable for me
I'll probably be active in a short time, unless that other game becomes my crack.

I can't seem to connect to the server. Did you give me the right server IP? I doubt the problem is you getting my name wrong (common mistake) becomes it doesn't say "You haven't been white listed. But if you have got my name wrong its qwsazxcde, NOT qwsazxcode. Just look at the pattern it makes on the keyboard.

Patience, both the server IP I gave you and the whitelist name are correct, as far as I can tell.   Whats the message you're getting?   Give it another shot, the server was off and on earlier because we were having glitches.

Still can't get it. The message I get is
Failed to connect to the server
Connection timed out: connect

I don't think I've had this problem before. I guess I can try again tomorrow though. If it doesn't work then I doubt it ever will.

That message usually pops up if the server you entered does not exist or if you have no internet connection. Make sure all the numbers of the server you entered are correct, if not ask MIHB to send you link again, he might have entered a wrong number somewhere in there by accident.

Er, I'll get on eventually. But I don't have an updated copy of MC for Mac (that is definitely not cracked for the record). Anyway, I'm partitioning my hard drive and getting Windows tomorrow, so all my dreams--including playing MC with you guys--will be coming true soon.
