Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

The Cereal Defense

This topic is based off an episode of a television show that I find to be absolutely hilarious, called It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia.   If you want to look up the episode I am referring to, it is called "Reynolds Vs Reynolds: The Cereal Defense" and is the 10th episode of the 8th season.

In the episode, Dennis is driving down the street with one hand while holding a bowl with cereal and milk in it in the other hand.   When he stops at a red light, he eats from the bowl, and does he not eat from it while driving.
Frank is listening to a tape that somebody recorded for him giving him the directions to his destination.   While Frank is yelling at the tape, because it just doesn't work, he accidentally crashes into Dennis' car, while Dennis is stopped at a red light holding the bowl of cereal.
There is absolutely 0 damage to the outside of either car.   The ONLY damage is to the interior of Dennis' car, from the bowl of cereal.   Who should be responsible for paying for the damage?   Frank, or Dennis?

Re: The Cereal Defense

Something that tiny isn't worth worrying about getting the other person to pay. Frank is responsible because he's driving like a crazy nub, but Dennis will be paying for it because it's not even that serious. If the damage was more serious Frank would pay.

Well Frank would've had to pay for the exterior damage had there been any. Seeing as how neither's exterior is damaged though, Dennis is responsible for paying for his own interior. That would be like if I had an open can of soda and had to swerve because an idiot pulled out in front of me, and it spilled everywhere. Sadly it would be my problem, not his.

Lolol this episode was funny!

I think Dennis should because he took the cereal to the car, so he started it all.

But Frank is the person who caused the cereal to be spilled. If Frank had not lost control, the cereal would not have spilled. He should be glad the only thing that happened was spilled cereal, it could have ended in death.

That's true. I'm pretty sure car insurance doesn't cover vehicular manslaughter, right?

Re: The Cereal Defense

It doesn't, but it covers the car damage that comes along with it.

Re: The Cereal Defense

It occurs to me, that Dennis assumed responsibility for a potential spill the second he took the bowl into the car.
