If you haven't heard about this game yet, get prepared for a life changing experience, and I do not say that in a positive way.
This is the single most addicting game that's out there. More addicting than Flappy Bird. Heck, Flappy wasn't even fun compared to this one.
The instructions are down below, shouldn't be hard to follow.
Losing to this makes me rage more than losing a no-spawn Dead Space 2 gameplay at the last boss. And winning it is heck of a pleasure (I've won it twice). And special thanks to MIHB for showing me this wonderful game.

Then I would suggest you to reconsider your posts. But enough of that, let's head back at the game.
There are several methods in this game that you learn playing through this game. Keep playing this game and you'll find ones. And to update my score, I have won this five times and still going.

Agreed. I'm not entirely sure why people like it either. Although, people are strange; people were obsessed with Flappy Bird for about a month until everyone got over it. I think it's just another fad; lots of people are talking about it, so it's 'trendy' and 'cool', and people don't want to miss out, so they play it. People will soon get over it, until the next stupid thing comes along.

As for my opinion on the game, I thought it was kind of fun at first, but since I've beaten it, I can't really play it anymore. Now that I know that the optimal only winning strategy is to force the numbers into the corner, the game has lost all appeal.

Disagree. The reason why I play it is because it is mostly addicting and fun, and it's very good for multitasking (on an iPad in this case) when you're watching a Game of Thrones episode or a boring movie but still worth watching.
I played Flappy Bird too. I still do from time to time. Honestly, I didn't give a damn about all the fame around it, I played it because I liked playing it.

I would like to add that I beat this game today (got the 2048 tile) after about a few hours over the course of two days.
Theres a strategy that me and my friend figured out, by the way.

Like Pyro said, there is a strategy, a meta in the game. You won't get far until you learn the strategy but once you learn it, you shouldn't have trouble until the game purposely makes you lose by making you have to move the way you know you shouldn't.

My stats teacher is in the top 1% in the world in this game his highest tile was 32 768 before he lost.
