I want to start a discussion here about Chemtrails, and what your opinions are on them, and why they are. If you don't know what these are, I suggest you look it up on your own, and then come back here to talk about it, as I would rather people contribute to the conversation that know what they are talking about, not simply piggy backing off my explanation of what they are or they're purpose in the hopes of having a better discussion about them. Besides, looking up things on your own is something that everybody should do to form their own opinions.
So now I ask people who know what I'm talking about: What do you think about them, and do you believe that it is something being done on purpose and being covered up?

A scientific explanation here. Chemtrails contain harmful chemicals containing barium and aluminium, which are harmful to us. Rain which formed from some of these chemtrails contained these chemicals. Barium is an immune system suppressant... Meaning if you inhale this stuff you'd be getting more sick. The Barium is for population control. Aluminium is for HAARP so the electromagnetic waves can reflect off of the aluminium in the atmosphere and do crazy things like weather modification and other crazy things. HAARP can ward off invading armies that want to capture the USA by causing crazy weather over enemies. Contrails look like streams of water that spread across the sky, while chemtrails (bad contrails) look like they're sagging down, or in other words look like they're falling from the sky.

Hahaha, you actually believe in this conspiracy garbage? Anyone who believes things like HAARP is controlling the weather are slow, and is spitting in the face of science.

There is no and never will be long term mass government schemes involving countless people to control the population. If there is, they will be caught and documents will be released, such as the NSA scandal. Same reason why 9/11, Moon Landing conspiracies are stupid, years have passed and there is no inside guy to leak it yet.
Governments don't have to create weird plots to control anyone, they aren't **** with vaccines or your water. All they have to is sit back and watch civilians get distracted by sport, beer, celebrities, film and TV.

It's cool if you don't think that the government is up to stuff, but Treejoe, if you start to turn this into a flame war, I will report your posts into hell.
If you have not noticed, power is slowly being taken away from people, and large corporations are gaining more control and power, which is exactly what happened in Germany when Hitler began to rise to power.
Also, if you look into Snowden leaks, the government is capable of looking through any webcam at anytime without activating the "ON" light, even if it is not plugged in. Do you have any idea how the government treats whistle blowers? Look at what they are trying to do Edward Snowden. They make people quite that speak out against what they do, like they have been trying to do with Edward Snowden, so people being scared of what could happen to them if they speak out if perfectly understandable.

I do think governments are corrupt, anyone who doesn't agree to this is an idiot. But I refuse to believe there are large scale conspiracies like the ones you believe in.

Snowden cannot be compared to airport crew. In fact everyone working at the NSA was knowingly a part of a large scheme, this is not the same with chemtrails. If chemtrails were true, then everyone working at an airport is a part of it, thousands upon thousands across the globe, most of them normal people. You would have to be crazy to think that there is a conspiracy, just go talk to a pilot for God's sake.

You realize the government has several of their own personal runways, in restricted areas such as Area 51. They don't have to go through an airport, it actually would not require that much effort to cover that part up.

EDIT: Also, spraying chemicals into the air which would wind up in the soil is a great way to control this countries agricultural growth how ever they want. That is actually an ingenious way to increase profits.

EDIT 2: I mean, even with the holocaust, no one believes that that stuff could actually happen, until it actually does.

Okay, so now you are saying that the government uses a few runways to spray chemicals. Then you are saying spraying this stuff improves soil quality.
The logical flaws in this fall into two points:
1. The amount of military bases needed to this would be huge, and still involve thousands of people who can leak it. And like the video you probably didn't watch explained, most of the chemicals would be removed to the sea by winds, meaning it would be pointless.

2. People already spray their crops with crops with chemicals, they are called pesticides, insecticides and fertilizers, and nobody cares.

There are patents out for stress tolerant plants that can survive harsher conditions, Chemtrails would be affecting the Organic argrifculture growth, which aren't run by the bigger corporations. Pesticides are dangerous, but they don't include chemicals like Aluminum or Barium in that high a concentration. You wouldn't need a ton of people involved that weren't involved in the actual operation that would know all the details.
Besides, how easy to you exactly think it is to take a photo of things in highly-restricted areas? Not easy at all. Anyone who would speak out would likely not have the proof to back it up, making people automatically dismiss it, such as yourself, and you wouldn't care to look up what happened to the person that did the actual speaking out, because of their lack of evidence. It seems like the only way you would ever believe any of this stuff would be the way that involves you not doing anything but what you do everyday, and a whistle-blower coming out with an extremely large amount of evidence, which is basically asking for the impossible to happen.

Now you sound crazy, you actually trying to tell me that military planes are flying over small organic farms, to slow their growth. You haven't watched the video, so you still do not understand that the height planes fly at means all chemicals released are taken to the oceans by trade winds.

Oh I looked at your video. He has no degree in the field specifically dealing with this, and is clearly reading from a script. Get your information from people who know what they're talking about, not people who read from a script that make these sorts of videos on decently regular basis. Watching one video is not putting forth the proper effort into researching something like this, one afternoon of googling random stuff isn't even enough time to really come up with a well-formed opinion understanding the subject.

EDIT: Isn't science humanities way of figuring things out without have physical evidence?

You do not have a degree in this field.
That man just provides simple logical, undeniable arguments to provide against conspiracy theories. And what do you mean reading from a script, are you saying he was told to make the video? If you say so, then every point you make is a result of a deluded and paranoid belief system.
The winds argument is fact, and I see no counter argument from you to make this not fact. Instead you just attacked the source as unworthy without actually providing an argument.
Science is only about physical evidence, it is based on observations and explanations that are repeatable and accurate, and which have an effect on the world around them. Saying chemicals sprayed from a height where it is diffused over a very large area, is not argument, and can have no evidence to prove it can have an effect.

The video is one take, and he doesn't stop to think about what to say, indicating that it was rehearsed. Anything that goes up must come down, We know enough about the way the weather on this earth works that we can pretty accurately predict where something will fall, and if its a gas, it will disperse eventually and spread out.

He planned out the video? So what? People plan most information!
We can predict where it can fall, that is likely to be the oceans of the world. And I do think you can grasp the amount of spraying that would need to be done, even if it is something that can be done by airlines. If most of it ends up dispersed on a global scale, it's effects would be almost nil. Never mind recording it.
